We have asked for transparency in regards to the makeup of the mod team. MR has not been forthcoming in this regard leading to the conclusion that they are embarrassed with the lack of diversity.

If I were them I wouldn’t give out that information either. (And if they do, that’s great) It’s really in the context of more criticism of the staffs' moderation, which a vocal minority don’t (didn’t ) like, don't agree with with etc. And who is the we?

The continued, unproven allegations of biased and unfair moderation wouldn’t be resolved by the disclosure of this information.

If your conclusion is the MR is embarrassed by its lack of diversity, you can certainly run with that.

Or.... the volunteer mod staff simply does not want to provide personal information about themselves to you. You are not entitled to any of their personal information outside of what they share publicly in their profile or via their posts.

This is nothing more than the latest, of many attempts, by a very vocal minority to exert pressure on MR and the mod team to moderate the forums to their absurd standards.

Both you and @I7guy seems to think this would be a list of names and personal information and not simply: Our mod team is 87% male, 11% female, 2% other; 88% white, 22% POC; 96% identifies as cishet, 4% identifies as other sexuality; age ranges and countries.

Knowing the diversity level and general makeup of the moderator team is "creepy and inappropriate"?

If the representation is diverse (across all sorts of areas) it should be celebrated by MR honestly

I hear this a lot, but I've seen my fair share of people I've known for a long time "IRL" say some really nasty things on Facebook that shock me (and obviously they're not anonymous on Facebook). I think for some, social media is a truth serum, even when they're not anonymous. Personally, I can't relate to that. I rarely if ever post or reply to anything controversial on Facebook precisely because I know my friends can see it and I'm afraid I will be misinterpreted. And I'm not even talking about my saying anything mean-spirited!
