iPhone 17 Pro Max The Cosmic Orange thread. What’s your opinion?

My brother got one and tbh I wasn’t a fan. Maybe it will grow on me but it seemed very garish upon first impressions.
Waiting to get mine, but like the color from what I have seen in pictures. I don't think you have to worry about it holding up in a case. I won't use a case, so that could get interesting, but we will see how it holds up.
Yeah, I'm really OCD with keeping my phones in perfect condition. I'm hoping I can keep my orange phone in "pretty" condition as long as possible. I will use a case from the start.
That ceramic shield panel looks rough on all the colors but at least it isn't as bad as the silver model.
Happy to finally have real colors. I don’t love it — I especially hate the dual tone on the back. That said, I’ll be keeping it anyway lol.
Not sure if I count, since I went with silver, but upon seeing the orange in person this morning, I almost tried to switch to it from silver. It is much better looking than any photos. Only thing that stopped me, was the durability questions over the painted aluminum.

The cosmic orange definitely looks nice.
I got orange by accident. What I mean by this is that it was beside dark blue the only device available for delivery today. So I choosed orange. I thought I’ll hate the Color because it’s definitely not on my list of fav colors. But I have to say in reality it don’t looks that bad. Maybe it will grow on me. Well beside the fact that I have it in a case most of the time anyways. lol

Going by some of the order threads here, it seems to be the most popular color, despite having the most polarizing reaction.

Still waiting for mine to be delivered. But saw it in store. Very happy with the new bright color. Hope the anodized aluminum won't peel/chip. Will use mine with a clear case.

Sorry, not into bright orange tbh, not seen it in person but watched many reviews and it wouldn’t be my choice personally. Reminds me of the Walkman Sony Ericsson I had in about 2011, black front and bright orange back. Didn’t keep that one very long.

Saw it in store today and thought it was much less obnoxious than it appears in the promo videos/images. It’s not my cup of tea by any means, but it’s not awful either.
I love it. But it’s largely irrelevant, went straight into the sienna tech woven case. Got a Caudabe Paragon on order. When I retire it in 4 or 5 years I’m sure it will be as immaculate as the sierra blue 13pm it replaced.
Pro Max a no brainer purchase vs other models for me personally. Good for those who love the Air, but to me it’s a step backward for mostly aesthetic rewards. A week after owning any phone the novelty has worn off, and it becomes a tool for me. And in that regard the Pro Max is simply a better tool.

I like the color of the back panel a lot, but I don't like the brownish orange they've used otherwise.
