Where are you located? I know some people in the UK received the same email but am not aware of anywhere else.

Have not received this email. 42mm Sport w/ Blue Band, 4-6 originally and now preparing for shipment.

just got mine

38mm black aluminum sport band black

oh well

apple screws us finally i guess

"We're working on your order."

ATTENTION PLEASE.

Can even one person here cite ANY source or logic that makes this email mean your delivery date is not 4/24? "The other thread said so" is not a valid source.

This is the second thread I've seen where people assume this means no Friday delivery, but I don't understand why. It looks like a typical new-product email

I can guarantee they really just sent this out to all the people who are in "processing" right now, but with the shipping date specified in the email. I am sure that it wasn't sent to people because they won't be getting it on Friday, simply to encourage people to be patient, and there is a chance they won't get it Friday, just like the original shipping estimate said when they ordered.

Got it too. 42mm SS black sport band. Confirmation X:04 still processing

I'll try and stay optimistic here and read into and think that apple has time to still get things out the door tomorrow.

I got it, too.
I'm furious.
I still believe in the Apple Watch but this is ridiculous. THEY HAD TWO WEEKS TO PUT MY ORDER TOGETHER AND THEY COULDN'T EVEN GET THAT RIGHT!!!!!!!!

UGH.

Just got that email. Bummer. 42 SS Classic. Still processing and no charge. Michigan. Preordered 3:19am local.

Just got mine. 42 SS Classic. Still processing. At least I will have a charger tomorrow. #

This doesn't surprise me. The Sport has the same materials as an iPhone. Apple makes zillions of those. The "regular" Watch is basically the same material as a Swiss timepiece. Apple hasn't made those in the past. I'm sure it has been a learning experience.
