Angela strikes again. Still processing btw, think they are doing this just to piss us off.

Dear,

Your Apple Watch will be in your hands shortly. Once it is, we can help you get started right in the comfort of your own home with online Personal Setup. It’s a video session* where we show you how to set up Apple Watch with your iPhone, walk you through some key features, and answer your questions. We’ll also point out some great apps, and help you personalize your device.

Schedule online Personal Setup
Of course, you can always visit an Apple Store and request a Personal Setup session with a Specialist.

Thank you for choosing Apple.

* You’ll need your Apple Watch, iPhone 5 or later, a high-speed Internet connection, and computer or iPad to view a live video. iPhone requires iOS 8.2 or later.

Who has all had it? Where did the rumour that if you get it you're not gonna get it on launch day start? I can't imagine that being the case!

Incidentally, I haven't had it.......yet. Curious that's all.

Dear,

Your Apple Watch will be delivered at some unknown point in time. If your order ships, you may receive an email, or you may not. We might send you another one like this.

To help you get started and learn about the amazing things you can do with Apple Watch, please see the unboxing of all the other people who ordered after you.

Apple Watch requires iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, or iPhone 6 Plus which you can purchase at any Apple Store, unlike Apple Watch. Please take a moment every hour or so to check the status of your order, although it's likely it won't change anytime soon.

Thank you for choosing Apple.

We don't really care anymore,

Apple Store

A number of forum members in Australia (myself included) who received EODs on 23 Apr (Australian time) have subsequently received CC charges and moved to 'Preparing for Shipment' on 24 Apr (it is now late afternoon/evening on launch day over in Australia). For reference, I am in the 42 SS BSB group (X:03 email)

There will always be exceptions, but from reading hundreds of people's posts over the past 24 hours on the subject, there seemed to be a couple of common themes:
- People who were already at 'Preparing for Shipment' generally didn't get the EOD
- People that did get the EOD in Australia generally didn't get their Apple Watch today, but many of us moved to 'Preparing for Shipment'

I know there will be people who don't fit the pattern above, but I just wanted to provide a summary of the 'typical' chain of events for those of us in Oz who received the 'EOD'.

Best of luck to everyone still keeping their fingers crossed for delivery of their Apple Watch on launch day, I hope this post hasn't dashed your hopes too much! ;)

So I got the email of death however, yesterday at about 2pm PST I finally saw the charge on my credit card and the order changed to preparing for shipment, and then after an hour it changed to shipped and I had a UPS tracking number with delivery scheduled for today. What I ordered is a 42mm stainless steel with milanese loop. So far I'm happy!
