yes, to strip "back", that could be the way "forward", but who is gonna do it?

If a web site comes up blank or takes too much of my time to render on my multi-core behemoth so-called modern CPU then I click the back button or close the tab—end of story.

the tenfourfox updates cameron kaiser does is just adding newer https certificates and removing some components or something, not much web compatibility difference compared to tff fpr32.5

Correct, mostly. Some security backports but he's really probably gone as far as is feasible with the frameworks and development environment available to 10.4. It was an impressive run for a single individual. Now allows him to concentrate on FF for his Talos machine...
Web devs just need to unsh**tify their sites.
