Well, apparently they've gotta be aliens of some kind. Though I'm waiting to see why the plane would be loaded with almost nobody but aliens.

With all the "flashbacks" it could be they were being transported to the facility or everyone on the plane wern't aliens. Just the pilot.

you mean the people on the plane were already the crashers? or that they got 'infected' in some ways?

i think they will turn out to be just regular people who were put in 'suspended animation' by the crasher in the black copters.

I don’t think they’ll be aliens. Whoever saved the plane, saved them too.
