    Nice post and very true.
Part of the reason I got a Galaxy S Plus on Monday was the Note 8 Spec leaks.

S8+ 6.2" OLED vs. Note 8 6.3" OLED and they have Buy 1 Get 1 Free offers on the S8+ 0.1" I can live without.

What Apple fans are being trolled on by Apple is that a 5.8" actually more like 5.7" because the middle cameras intrude. Is that with No Home button is that 5.7" is down right lady like and roughly the same as the 4.7" IPhone in size.

Really hoping that Next years phones are 120hz Promotion HDR Displays really looking forward to the IPHone 8s Plus.

It seems likes phones are just making the screens larger by making them longer and not any wider. It's going to lead to some weird aspect ratios.

And why is there an off-center home button cutout on the iPhone 8?

And if no one had mentioned a 6.4" screen, no one would be worried about the screen size on the iPhone 8. I swear it's all about showoffability for some folks.

Samsung's hardware design is great and all, but it's not worth the hassle with software unless you can get an Exynos model.

Of course it will. The note is a phablet, while the 8 will be like the 7's size.

This. Not to mention the link the OP provided is from "BGR", a clickbait article that has a photo of an unfinished iPhone with some random placement of the home button. Let alone we haven't seen the iPhone 8, but now the focus is some how shifted to a 6.4 iPhone.

Note 8 is suppose to be an 162x75 6.3" display
    Is more than a phablet
It will be very uncomfortable in your pocket and using with your hand, remember this will suprass iphone plus in size overall
I want a smartphone that i can still put and travel with it in my pocket without having it stick out a lot
The iphone 8 will be the ideal smartphone a big display in a still compact size

Go check out the size in hand of the Galaxy 8+. The Note 8 is just a hair bigger.

Well given that the iPhone 8 body *appears* to be between the "7S/7S+" body sizes... it will definitely make that look tiny

Given the size of iPhone 8 compared to Note 8 it looks really Small and downgrade to me  Apple should have retained the Plus model in 6.4 form factor. But anyway, seems like my dream iPhone is still one year away :(

I don't get why people are complaining about the size of the iPhone 8. It has a bigger display than the current 7+. It has the reduced bezels that everyone has been crying out for. But because it's not coming in an even bigger size this year, people aren't happy.

    No pleasing some people.

And for others, they need bigger things to make up for smaller things they can't change.

theres a reason 7 Plus or Plus series in general outsells the standard size phone. Most importantly are Texting any male with normal or large hands may have a hard time texting and a smaller display or device. And while the new iPhone 8 is likely 5.8" diagonally its overall display size makes it comprable in size to the 4.7" iPhone along those lines a small device is difficult to hold. Sometimes I find my old iPhone 5s and its comically small.
Watching videos and Social Media are hands down better on a larger device.

So despite having a larger screen to text on, it will be more difficult because of the reduced bezels? You're just someone who likes to pick faults and you'll use any excuse to spread your doom and gloom and warn everyone to steer clear of the new iPhone.

And you're pretty much saying everyone who prefers the non plus must have ladylike hands.

This time next year if an even bigger iPhone is released, you'll find a whole other load of reasons why we should avoid it and wait for the 9.

I think people are complaining cause the screen is bigger but you won't be able to see more content so it makes it a waste essentially.

Actually, I think that the 7 plus is the first time this has happened, and that probably has a lot to do with the dual camera and extra GB of RAM.
