I've had better luck with Hangouts over Skype. It just doesn't even seem to work half the time. Facetime and Hangouts are more reliable in my experience.

is it posible to do a straight voice call with hangouts? What I do is I just tap on video and then select earpiece.
OK, i have a question about Hangouts. Im just am having trouble with it. When i switched it to Default, of course all my texts are there that ive sent to whomever. When my Wife texts me, it comes in a different window than the one that is already there and sometimes it doesnt show her picture though it shows her number...which of course is in my contacts....thats wierd.
When i texted her today, from the previous thread and pushed send, it started another thread....WTH is with that?
Also i texted a friend from an older on going thread and it never sent it to him. I had to start a new one.
This app drives me nuts and i keep thinking im doing something wrong or dont understand it but i think its just messed up and why i like Textra better but id love for Hangouts to work good because it has other things it does that Textra or Handcent dont.
Make sure:
Your number is registered
You're running the latest version
Have "merge sms" enabled.
If the contact has their number registered, their contact pic will be changed to their hangouts pic.
Reason I went to Hangouts is the polish that comes with the app. No lag, no stutter, great group chat integration and multiple person video chat (great for work).
All that is set. I did send a number confirmation anyways but it is already set in teh settings. Along with a Google Number that ive never used.
Ok, they don't stay closed then. Will just get the wireless back plate then.
I've been debating whether to order the wireless s-view case as there are no cases compatible with the wireless charging back cover.
There are a few threads Android Central about the wireless s-view case.
This thread has pictures, and apparently the wireless charging s-view case closes better than the non-wireless charging case (I am sure there were comments on XDA which also confirmed this).
I think I am going to get a white one.

You wouldn't see the notifications light with the s-view case right? Does anything show in the window. Not sure how it works really.
What makes your battery drop 5% overnight one night then 60% the next? Has happened a few times now.

Any new widgets ? Or maybe app that use the GPS ?
I also check the data usage if I think my battery is going down quickly,one time I had a game that for some reason was using huge amount of data on the background.
No widgets but my daughter was play 8 ball pool on it last night maybe that was it.

Thanks Ritholtz! My 6 year old is crazy about minecraft! I already have it on my ipad and he hogs that up all the time. I'm afraid if I get it on my phone I'll never get my phone back!
Tried the S5 in a shop for a good 10-15 minutes.
I'm super impressed at how fast it was. Very responsive and smooth. Plus, sooo much functionality!
And Galaxy S5 runs a Snapdragon 801, which is just an overclocked 800. Imagine how amazing Galaxy S6 is going to be with Snapdragon 810 and 4GBs of RAM!
