If anyone is in doubt about the fonts, I've done a mockup of the "Game Room" sign:

Hopefully, that should knock that one on the head...

What is with you people saying that it's a keycard? The thing is clearly twice the size of the CD sleeve sitting next to it.

Star Trek Today

I think all the Star Trek-like phrases are definitely related to IT ---- Here's why - I'm sure a bunch of you watch the show. You know how they always talk to the computer and it wirelessly controls their environment?

They tell the computer to turn on, dim, turn off the lights, prepare food, get into their quarters keylessly, make the room warmer or colder. And of course, the computer controls all their access to information and modes of entertainment.

So - basically, I'm for the digital hub theory. Apple is going to deliver a popular vision of the future that everyone will want.

Remember that super expensive, totally bloated Microsoft house of the future? Well I think apple's new innovation will enable the consumer to do something like that - but affordably, efficiently, and in style.

Just out of curiosity, what is that metal computer woz has on his desk? I didn't think the 20th Mac had that base on it.

I emailed woz in order to put an end to this banter

Ha! Sorry that I don't have time for the rumor sites. A friend did drop it off and I'm trying to find the right place for it in my office.
