No problem, very pleased with iPhone 3G purchase. Registration and activation was done @home through iTune and was able to use the phone and make calls instantly afterward. Been downloading apps and playing GPS feature a lot.

The only problem I have is spending too much playing with it.

No problems here, working like a charm.

The only slight issue was waiting from 0802 on Friday, till 1900 on Saturday, for O2 to activate it. An absolute dream since :)

No problems here either. Updated the firmware as well with no problems. I got my iPhone at 2:45am Friday morning (in Sweden) and activated it without a hitch when i arrived home. Like HFU, my biggest problem is that I spend way too much time playing on it when i should be writing my Masters Degree paper. :p

My wife and I got in line at 8:30 Saturday morning (AT&T store opened at 10) and were 8th in line. She ran off to pick up some breakfast for us while I sat and read a book. By the time she got back and we finished eating it was almost 9:30 and the employees had arrived.

About 9:45 a couple of managers came out and started down the line, taking our information (name, phone numbers, which phone we wanted). By 10:10, we were in the store. By 10:20 my phone was activated and in my hand. We were finished and out of the store before 11:00. Easy peasy.

Wife got the white and I got the black, both 16GB models.

No real issues except for programs forcing restarts (typically when i switch between them very quickly).

Went to AT&T Store at 5.45. I was 31st in line... employees came in at like 6.45, told us they had 100 phones. Got my 16GB White. Only problem was they screwed up my pay as you go number porting and I had to get a new number. All in all good.. phone is great no tint either, screen looks exactly like my old one.

Sign me on to the list of people without issues. I got my phone on iDay2 (in the evening) and was able to walk out of the store with a fully activated iPhone with contacts and calendars synced via MobileMe.

The lines here in Maryland were long (as I'm sure they were everywhere else), but once I got through that part the purchase and activation process took about 10 minutes. The phone works great and I am quite happy with it.

My only complaint is that I forgot the phone doesn't come with a dock so I have to drive back to the Apple store today to get one. Totally my fault.

I had some issues with adding Weather locations whilst at Norwegian region format, but merely changing that to UK or US lets me add the places I want.

Over all: No (real) problems, and - after just over 48 hrs - I'm still a very happy new iPhone owner. :)

I have to say that I have had 0 problems with my new 16GB white. It has been absolutely perfect! I get 3G everywhere in my city, just not in my house for some reason, in my yard 3G.

I can live with the no 3G in my house, I have WiFi for that.

I also don't have this yellow tint some people speak of. Side by side with last years iPhone and my 3G, identical settings from the same backup, pictures look identical, settings screens look identical and the screen quality seems the same.

I love my new iPhone!

Some issues, but I still love it!!!!!!

I had the normal activating issues, a little slowness on responsiveness with the interface and a hard crash that forced me into recovery mode and had to to a restore.
However.......... I love the thing, the look, the feel, the gps is awesome for locating, location aware apps rock(Although I wish some of them would give you the option to manually put in your location like some of the hotel apps, but I digress). I think it sounds allot better. Flush headphone jack is very cool.

I love it, and I am sure the bugs will get worked out in patches soon. Same thing with my first gen, some issues but were resolved soon with updates.

Oh did I say I love it?

Now that I've had mine a few days, I love it even more. I can't believe how much nicer it feels to hold; the curved back is really great, and the plastic is so much less slippery than the aluminum. Out driving this weekend, I checked my email, and the old fear of missing a call is gone now, which is a great feeling!

The first problem was actually finding a white 16GB, which I found at the Apple Store, Trafford Centre, Saturday just gone, and sifting through the lies of stock levels.
Now that that's resolved I can happily reply to this thread!

New iPhone 3G white, no screen issues, on 5A347 after doing a restore, and apart from a few applications force restarting as mentioned earlier in the thread,
I have no problems with my iPhone what-so-ever!

First time iPhone owner here, on day 3 of ownership, and I couldn't be happier.

For anyone wanting to see the white iPhone 3G in detail, checkout my thread.

Yesterday (Sunday, iDay-3) morning, my husband and I check the Apple site for availability at the Mall of Georgia Apple Store ... everything was green!

My husband and I arrived at 9:30am to get in line for the 12pm opening; we are 4th in line! By the time the store opened, perhaps 50-60 people were waiting. Three employees are handling iPhone sales and we step up at 12:30, are handed two 16GB iPhones (husband gets black, I get white) and begin the "New AT&T customers" process. About 20mins later, we're walking out the store activated, receiving calls to our ported numbers and loving our absolutely perfect 3G iPhones!

I was 20th in line at my AT&T store and got one of the 3 last 16gb iPhones. I love it and have had no major issues (other than having to restart the iPhone occasionally and running out of battery after playing too many games)
