Can you elaborate? I'm thinking whether i should get an engraved red ipod or not.
 
and ya its thin , and by thin i mean thin

im just hoping apple would lit me get a non engraved one ... this sux :(

^^ That doesn't look bad, and the engraving is just how i expected it to be. What exactly do you not like about it? I'm interested seeing as i want to engrave a red ipod nano.
 
ahhhh , i just dont like it , my day is ruined ... and the silver one looks better "i think"

I don't think it looks too bad, it certainly looks like every other engraved iPod I've seen. Whatever it is that you've had engraved is what irks me, I like the "Yo Momma uses a Walkman" bit but the long line of mixed caps and lower case characters across the top is what makes it look strange in my opinion.

If it was just "Yo Momma uses a Walkman" I think it'd look awesome.
 
its just the nano is tiny and the font is normal , i mean the font should be smaller...

and what do u think about purple compared to silver
 
Which color is a personal opinion/ preference. The purple looks great, and i think they got the engraving just right. It looks nice man. Instead of regretting enjoy. Congrats.

Got my orange 16g nano thursday (18th). Birthday gift from my wife, love it so far. Good replacement for my 4g mini.

what specifically do you like/dislike about your new 4g nanos, now that you've had some time with them?

I'm not liking the the fact that sometimes its in my pocket and i just cant adjust the volume cause it's in coverflow mode i have to take it out, rotate, etc. I also got this error yesterday "can't play selected game, cause may be full ipod" I did a reset and was able to play again. Other than that, i'm really liking the new center button menu, browse artist is rather nice.

same thing , its really annoying ...

eveything in this one was made right

the screen quality , sound etc...

the only problem im having is that when i hold the center while playing a song , the genius button doesnt show!
 
I think that's because the song isn't in the iTunes store, so there are no recommendations for it. Genius should analyze the tempo or genre in these cases.

  • wish i could adjust 'shake to shuffle' sensitivity rather than just turn it on or off. I'm most likely always going to have it turned off because when it is on it is too sensitive when I'm briskly walking with the nano in my pocket.
  • colors are nice and vibrant
  • can't find decent apps/games for it (there is no easy way to check in iTunes for nano apps anyhow)
  • battery life doesn't seem impressive so far, but good enough
 
Ok guys, I'm sorry to sound similar to those who thought the white iPhone was girly at first, but I'm wondering if I should get a purple one being a guy. The pictures make them look like a dark blue and navy blue is my favorite color, so I am really tempted to order one. To those that have seen them in person, do the purple ones look girly??? If they do, I'll order the red or silver.

I'd really love to find out peoples' opinions comparing those three. (red, silver, or purple)
 
I still don't get why they didn't use black clickwheels on all the colors.

I love the look of them, though. The fifth gen, if I had my way, would be the same but shorter.
 
Nah, not girly at all, but although I got the silver one, if I were to get another one, id go for red, the color is really bright and intense, it just stands out, and it's for a good cause.
 
ok you cant hate this thing , its simply amazing!

how ever the fact it changes to cover flow when its in my pocket or when ever im laying down is getting really annoying !

i cant change the volume unless i take it out!
can i disable cover flow , cuz i dont really need it
