WOO! So of course I missed the first delivery attempt, not being home and all, but theyre letting me come pick it up TONIGHT! IT WILL BE IN MY HANDS:D
 
Update (UPS)

A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

(Its pretty much the same thing that happened to MacMiguel, from Murcia, Spain).

Hmpf. I'm afraid there is nobody at home tomorrow when the package arrives... Who knows how that goes in The Netherlands? Can I pick it up somewhere tomorrow after work?

Edit; DHL will bring it, not UPS..

Not sure what the rules are for DHL, but with UPS you have to wait until they make the first delivery attempt and then you can collect or reschedule. In addition, I think I got lucky with UPS being open so late tonight.

May be worth looking up your closest DHL depot? And giving them a ring?

Well, there is a depot on a half hour trip, but on the website there is no information about picking up stuff. I also can't trace it on the DHL site. So let's wait, maybe i'm lucky and it will arrive on a moment when somebody's at home (in the morning or after 14:00)

I am predicting that a 24 hour flu will hit your household today, the only remedy is to be home to receive your little parcel of joy... Where I am from they call that a Mental Health Day... Actually I hear there is an epidemic going around the MacRumors forum of this flu. Contageous because everyone is already in a fevered state. So I suggest you rest, drink lots of fluids and catch up on some day time tv. Set up a nice chair on your porch, a tea with lemon and honey and a blanket so if anyone at work drives by they see you're all bundled up...

These drastic situations call for drastic measures ya know.

LOL! Well, i'm lucky. My mother got a call that she doesn't have to work tomorrow so she will be at home the whole day. YAY! :D

If I was still at school it would be an idea to stay at home with Appleflu. But now i'm working and that's very important to me! :)

My mum is also staying home so she can pick it up for me <3

My gf's iPhone just got delivered, didn't believe that the shipment date would actually be made at first. Quite impressive logistics and planning going on at Apple. (y)

Still need to get her a nano-sim though...
