Yep so I finally got it and I love it. Strange how yours was packaged....strangely.
On day 1, I was a little unsettled about the fast battery drain. But that night I did a full charge and today is much better. I'm guessing it'll just take a while for the battery to settle.
In other news, what's with all the food in here? I did a double take to make sure I was in the right thread! You guys are lost without me!

Just received my gold iphone 5s!!! I've had the iphone 4 for the last 3.5 years, so it's a big difference for me. It is much faster when just opening up apps and email.
I upgraded from a 4S. Isnt the difference in screen size huge to you? To me, and with my Spigen Tough Armor case the phone feels much flatter and larger. A good thing, dont get me wrong.
I agree, the screen seems a lot bigger. I like the extra space for another row of icons

I waited 3 and a half weeks for my 5S, so I can only say congrats to everyone who has theirs on their way and to the people waiting for theirs, just be a little patient, the more you wait, the better you will feel when the phone arrives
Mine took 2.5 weeks to arrive, but I thought it would take longer after reading about all the gold shortages.
Are you located in the U.S. ?? If so I would think you MIGHT get it right before Thanksgiving. I ordered mine on a Thursday and got it the following Friday, and it sat in China and Korea a day and a half at least EACH. I think it's a matter of timing (when you ordered it versus when the next big batch leaves the factory versus when the next entire plane of phones heads out to each particular distribution hub (U.S., England, Europe, Africa, Eurasia and so on).
I just took mine the Apple store today to get it activated and trade in my 4S, a pristine 4S 32gb, they gave me $189.00 in credit which I applied toward a set of Bose AE2i headphones and a Tech21 clear impact band case. The headphones sound very nice, the whole phone and case are far lighter than my old 4S, plus the doggone this is waaaay faster. Haven't tried out the camera yet but I know I'll like it...

It will!! Im guessing that we will receive the status change with an updated status already, i believe that our phones are in Europe... mine should be in Milan. From Milan, to get here takes no more than 5 hours: Milan - Valencia 2hours.. transfer etc and train to Alicante.. so it should be here on time, no matter what, most likely tomorrow...Also, I kind of imagine that they have tons of phones that they have to distribute now, and its a long process, physically and administratively as well... so it might have taken up the whole weekend (dunno if they work on sunday for example) + maybe this morning.. we'll see!
