So finally Saturday the UPS tracking info was updated and my phone will be delivered today!
YAY!
Unfortunately Im at work, so wont be home to receive it. Boo
Thank god I have a car and can go collect it...
Don't know about UPS in your country, but to be on the safe side I printed aNd filled out the form authorizing/signing that the driver could leave the parcel on my doorstep. Options include leaving with a neighbor, putting parcel at back door (or specify a place, like under the hood of your bbq on the back porch, ect.).
I was home, but cooking (see pictures) and am very hard of hearing (WHAT DID YOU SAY ???? LOL) and tacked the noticed on my screen door, the driver knows me well enough he left the parcel, even though I was checking every five minutes...
Good luck getting yours. I've been thru getting a case, adding movies, more music and apps and trying out my Bose AE2i headphones. It's marvelous. So cool... It'll be your turn soon.
I don't think so. I dont know how it works in the Netherlands, but in Spain all call centers (e.g. apple support) are outsourced to Latin-America (cheap labor, obviously..) and they are extremely kind, really nice, but cannot really see into your order, they know what you know.
On the other hand though, you could ask them, which postal company delivers your iphone, and you might be able to track you phone on their website, with the help of some reference (phone number, delivery destination, apple order number etc..).. because it might be the case that your phone is already on its way, but apple did not update our status due to overwhelming amount of orders.... It might help..
And anywayz.. our phones are all in the same situation, we receive updates the same time.. and we dont receive updates at the same time.. so I guess all is okay, and if you call them, your phone wont arrive earlier. So it might only work as a psychological help

I love my new phone, but my kitty Trooper loves the box that the iPhone box was shipped in. He's about 9 weeks old and tiny but he loves this box, he can flip it around, chew on it, attack it 40 different ways to Sunday. It's been in China, Korea, Alaska, Kentucky, and Newark Airport (which he flew into on United from California) so he's NUTS about it. Here's the phone, headphones and our beloved Trooper and his great new toy... LOL

Congrats to those who got the dispatched notices !! TO the rest of those who have not, you WILL get them. I thought I would never, ever see mine, but it came. Same for you. By the way it IS worth the wait. Last night the wife was sleeping, our cable provider has an app where you can watch any channel you receive on your iPad or iPhone, so I watched a little bit of Sunday Night Football on my iPhone with the Bose AE2i headphones, wow it was so cool... Just like HD TV but tiny and the sound playing back and forth thru the phones, just like the 60s. LOL
