Why is everyone getting it by next week when i ordered the express shipping and i didnt get a delivery date until a lot later

Woke up. Rolled over. Opened app. It's WORKING AND UP!

Painless purchase of 16GB white/silver 5S and AC+ on AT&T with expedited shipping for ten bucks. Hoping I get it by end of next week.

Bragged on Facebook, posting on the forum. Back to bed.

I'll accept the 10-14 day wait rather than dealing with the AT&T store tomorrow. I had them screw me over on a pre-order for the 4s two years ago where they left me waiting for weeks while the walk-ins got the store supply first.

Couldn't order via Apple because they couldn't connect to Verizon for my upgrade. Verizon site was giving me fits but finally got through. Ordered 64gb gold for my wife (I'm sticking with my 5). Says it will ship by the 24th. No other shipping options offered.

Check if you have a payment due. That's what this message usually means.

Same, except to make it even more insulting it's happy to tell me that I can order one for ~$550 on one of my other lines on the same account that's not eligible for an upgrade yet. Thanks AT&T, just keep being terrible, you're doing great.
 
Can I buy the contract free T-mobile version and unlock it for use with AT&T? Are the LTE bands compatible?

I bounced back and forth between the Apple Store and the Verizon site. I finally went back to the Apple site which was much more straight forward and ordered. I got the Space Gray 16GB model. Exciting stuff. It ships in 1-3 business days so that means early next week. Now I have to figure out what to do with my iPhone 5! It's in mint condition, wonder how much its worth? Anyway new phone on the way. :D

Ended up doing similar, on the Apple store it would not verify correctly with AT&T, I was eventually able to log onto the AT&T store, so I ordered from there instead.

I would have preferred to order form the Apple store, but I have no idea what was going wrong with them and AT&T...

So question, how does one add Applecare to the phone ?

Just take it into an Apple store.
