They changed my delivery date to Oct. 8-10 with standard shipping from the original Sept. 30-Oct. 2 estimate I was given.

I was getting the same AT&T errors as you on apple.com. Finally gave up and ordered through AT&T directly but the ship times are so much longer :(

To get applecare+
At an Apple Retail Store (requires inspection of your iPhone and proof of purchase)
By calling (800) 275-2273 (requires you to run a remote diagnostic and provide proof of purchase)

It might be a server problem or something on AT&Ts side. I have a payment due, but the Apple Store app was able to apply my early upgrade.

Indeed, it is really annoying. I have no idea how long shipping will be now :(

getting the same error. bill is paid off so no idea why its saying that. very frustrating
 
I am in contract with att, i am trying to pay full retail for the device, do I just buy the t mobile one? is that exactly the same thing? I dont see a way to buy for full retail for att.

Email confirmation for me was 2:10 central.

Did you order gold? Mine is silver 64gb att, that probably is a factor.
