The "I just bought/ordered/got/shipped my new iPhone 5s/5c" thread, [Merged]

It is a challenge to sift through this thread due to the various options. You know- order source, color chosen, memory chosen, time of order, confirmation time, delivery frame, yada, yada...

I ordered-
THROUGH: APPLE STORE APP ON iPHONE
ORDERED: GOLD, 32GB
CONFIRMATION TIME: 2:08AM CENTRAL (wasted time pondering dock :mad:)
DELIVERY TIME: OCT 7-10
EXPEDITED SHIPPING: YES

I think that covers it.

Anybody out there within these parameters and what is your status?
I am currently "Processing Items".

I got the same thing when I tried to change the delivery on the UPS site. I just called them and I was directed to a team that is dedicated to the Apple launch shipments :). They put my into a Will Call status so I can pick it up the morning after. (I travel a lot, so this is much safer for me).

Do you know if the option to hold it before delivery was available? My driver doesn't usually come around until early evening and sad as it may sound I will literally be pacing around the house waiting for him. It doesn't help that I don't have a phone right now.

For anyone's reference I purchased my AT&T 32GB 5S Silver at 6:30 PM on Friday. Email stated shipping date was anywhere from 10/1 to 10/11, but after a quick phone call to AT&T a representative confirmed the phone was shipped at 10AM and will be delivered tomorrow. The AT&T website is apparently very inaccurate.

Also- since you're second group, it'll probably be at least 3 days or so before you see preparing to ship as thats when the first group is supposed to be pretty much done.
 
Ordered my iPhone 5S Space Grey 32GB model at 12.01am Friday morning and the shipping has slipped to OCTOBER D:
 
Anyone else who ordered a 16gb space grey from apple still on preparing for shipment? I order a 16gb gold which has shipped, but my space grey hasnt moved.

How could that happen I am confused? You were one of the first people to order it yet it's getting pushed back? Are you sure you don't mean pm?

I've got a 32GB gold verizon ordered at 12:03 from the app store and it's still showing up as "preparing for shipment" :confused:

I really wouldn't be worried if it weren't for the fact that I'm going to be gone on the 28th for 2 weeks....

This is a simple hold at the UPS facility. It is not going onto a local truck then going on hold after the first delivery attempt. It will arrive and UPS, then I will get a notice that it is available for pickup.

Yours will be joining mine on a plane tomorrow to Alaska. It'll arrive there in a little under 24 hours.
