Nice! If I was more motivated during launch I would have done the same.
My 32gb silver AT&T, ordered XX:21 departed Incheon, Korea at 12:30 AM 9/26/13 (local time) and is set to arrive here in Dallas by EOD 9/26/13 (local). I'll be impressed if it actually gets here tomorrow (I'll sit and wonder about the international date line and how my phone will spend an extraordinary number of hours existing on 9/26/13).
From the other posts here, I get the impression it will be flying from Korea to Alaska to a regional FedEx hub, then truck to local dispatch facility, then on the truck and to my front door. That's quite a task in the next 31 hours.

Ordered the AT&T Space Gray 32 GB. Today I received a push notification from the Apple Store that my iPhone was shipped with a delivery date of Oct 1st. But when I track the shipment from UPS, it states the schedule delivery date is the 27th end of day.
Would UPS hold the package until the Tuesday?

I just got mine today, not launch day. I had originally ordered online, but was in the "October" group, so I decided to hunt on my day off.
Hesitated for a day then ordered a silver 32GB on AT&T online. Got estimated ship date of oct 1-30. Just got email this morning that it shipped!

I originally got the space grey on launch because no gold
then yesterday, I decided to take a chance and showed up before the apple store opened and what do you know, they had ONE gold left from yesterday night that no one picked up (being first in line also helped
)you either gotta be there early to see if any stock from last night wasn't gold or wait at the store the whole day for a truck to come in
then again, the gold i got was 64GB so I'm not sure if someone wanted it at that size
seems like everyone want the gold 16GB
I am glad to say that my fiances Gold iP5s is now on the truck for delivery.

Question.... my status online for my sim finally updated to Processsing after 3 days. I called the ATT store I ordered from and they said my phone is set to be shipped out with the "next batch". Anyone else told that? When is the next batch?

I thought you could purchase Apple Care up to a year after you buy your phone, but I'm looking at the Apple Care + option (which is the only one shown on their website for the iPhone) and it says:
"Buy it within 30 days of your iPhone purchase. Your iPhone purchase date is the date we ship and charge you for your order:"
Is the 1 year policy out-dated at this point?

Same thing happened to me. Sim went off backorder to processing. I'm hoping it means the phone will ship soon.
Finally got it after staring down my office hall way like a lost puppy dog.
Only thing now is getting AT&T to activate the phone. Anyone else have a little delay with the activation?

I just got my iPhone 5s 16gb! Upgrade from 4s. I'm setting it up now! It wasn't supposed to get here till September 30-October 2. But UPS just delivered it.
