Do AT&T orders require signatures when shipped via USPS? (US Postal Service, not UPS, just to be clear.) My order for two 5S' is due to be delivered on Saturday (I have a tracking number) and I'd hate to have to wait until Monday if I'm not around when it arrives.

As long as it doesn't pass to the "preparing to ship" stage, you can cancel it, and apparently the upgrade comes back pretty quick, especially if you call AT&T.

Hi folks - similar to last year, I have put together a spreadsheet where you can put the last four characters of your serial number from your iPhone 5S.

I'm requesting this, because the last four characters of an Apple serial are the model number of your new device, and the guy who runs the chipmunk.nl Apple Serial Number Decoder service needs these characters in order to be able to tell you (and everyone after you) what model of phone a certain serial number is.

HINT: If you ordered your phone from Apple but do not yet have it, and it has either already shipped to you (or is just about to be shipped) you can go to Apple's My Support Profile, and log in with the Apple ID that purchased the phone(s) from them, and you can see your serial number before you even have the phone in your hand!

So, without further ado, will you please kindly head over to the spreadsheet and put in the last 4 characters of your serial number, if they are not already on the sheet? Thank you!

I can definitely confirm on the non-Gold portion. Phoned a few local stores, and they had stock... but only in Space Gray.

I'm hoping the Gold won't take till next Friday... that would be murder.

On the off chance I went to Grand Central NYC and they had LOTS of stock this morning.

I arrived 9.50am in a queue of about 30. Got my ticket immediately for an AT&T 64 gigs space gray. I paid full price (they had no problem with this). Picked up phone and was out the door 10.10 am. Amazing.

The funny thing is that they closed the line a few people after me and they had a lot of tickets/stock left over.
