Ordered a Gold 5S 16GB via Tmobile on 10/4 so I could sign up for JUMP and use their contract free financing, also used Advantage Direct via my company.

Got an update from them saying 2-4 weeks Good thing I expected such a wait ordering so late. She did say it was because of the Gold color, if I ordered slate or silver it would of been within a week.

Mine just recently arrived in Korea.

Mine was on the same flight!! I'm waiting for it to leave Korea! My delivery date is Thursday 10/10. I ordered sprint 32gb silver on 10/23 from apple.

I cancel my online order inside apple store.

I love the phone. And yes, I have the sensor issue.

This afternoon though, the status changed from "Processing" to "Preparing for Shipment". I have no idea what the hell any of this really means in terms of me getting my phone, but at least there's some indication of movement.

I think the UPS shipment that left Incheon, Korea on 10/07/2013 at 11:34 P.M. (Korean time) Is flight number KAL213 to Alaska. Anyone else have an order that just left Korea? Mine sat there for 4 days and just left 3 hours ago. Expedited my ass.

In the same boat, err airplane. Mine is now in Anchorage finally. Still a long way to go.

My Timeline

-Woke up at 2:50am sept 20th to preorder
-AT&T and apple servers couldnt handle it so my order got delayed till 3:30 am for my 64 GB gold A&T
-Shipping date October
-Decided to cancel my online order when the in store pick up option opened up
-Got my 64GB gold today

It's funny, the in store option actually got me the phone faster than I would've gotten if I had waited for my original order to ship. If apple will always bring in store pick up option, then I'm doing that in the future, seems to work better. (unless of course they bring back pre orders for all models, then its game on at 3am lol)

Yesterday I ordered an unlocked 16-GB iPhone 5s in "Space Grey" for T-Mobile directly from the Apple online store, I ordered it for Next Day Delivery before Noon. I expect that since the next business is Monday, that I should receive it by Tuesday morning.

It appears that I will receive it 'Next Day before Noon' after what ever day it actually ships, at this point sometime in October:

I haven't received the phone, yet, but on my shipment confirmation from Apple it also says "no signature required", while on the apple.com Order Status page it says "Signature required for delivery".

Ok, I'm super confused now. After waiting almost 20 days, my shipment sat in Korea for 4 days over the weekend, finally left yesterday, but now it's back in China (this time Shanghai) and it arrived there 7 minutes after leaving Korea?!? UPS still says it will be here on Thursday (in 2 days), WTF is going on? Anyone have any idea, see image:

For all of you who are worried it won't get there on the ship date: it's amazing how fast they get to your door once that flight leaves for Kentucky. I remember tracking my ipad2. It was in China one day and literally at my door the next evening.

Ordered my AT&T 64gb Silver 5s from their website on sunday 6th at like 11pm and got an expected ship date of 10/9-10/11. Got an email update on the 7th that my order shipped and will be here on the 10th

I ordered my gold 5S 32GB (Verizon) from the Apple website at about 10:00 AM PST on September 20th. No change yet from the first "ships in October", but I haven't seen anyone else post here who ordered later on the 20th, so I will update once my status changes.

It said "October" while the status was still processing, but when (to my glee) it shipped and appeared on the UPS site, the delivery date was the 11th. Now it's the 15th, rassafrackin' UPS...

I called Apple and they thought it was strange, especially arriving in China 7 minutes after leaving Korea, but they couldn't explain why. So I called UPS, and they said they have an advanced system that routes packages according to their network efficiency. I laughed and said, "yeah, ok, so it sits in Korea for 4 days having come from China and then backtracks to China, going the opposite direction? really efficient." ....long story short it will arrive on time as promised even if they have a Rube Goldberg way of getting it there. lol. The thing I'm upset about, is if they had just sent it out on its proper way last week, I would have had it already. Instead I'm forced to login to the package tracking system and watch it ping-pong around the world for 7 days. ???

Sat in china for a couple days.... original arrival was 14th (on email from Apple) but UPS tracking is still showing the 10th by end of day.
