Still processing on October 8, 2013

Since it's still processing, I wonder if I should change from a 16 GB to a 64 GB, and/or from a Space Grey/Black to Gold/White?
 
Ordered two phones...

Sept 26th - 16GB ATT Gold 5s. As of this moment, it is still processing. Called Apple and got a free case, (overnighted and will arrive tmw?!?!?) and express shipping for whenever they send the phone. Apple folks have no idea when to expect the phones.

Sept 28th - 16GB ATT Grey 5s. Status just switched to Processing this afternoon. I was told by Apple to expect the phone in my hands within a week but Apple.com still shows "October" for shipping date.

The real bummer... I just checked this link,

There are 3 stores in my area that has the Silver and Grey 16 & 32GB 5s ALL DAY LONG in stock. Too late for me to cancel my order. I've learned a lesson... Never buy a hot item from Apple directly.

Although... They did crank out my new iMac so I'm not hating on Apple. In one month's time, all of this will be a distant memory as we are consumed by the newer and better technology.

Got the notice it was shipped an hour ago. Expected delivery is Oct 17th but I'd expect it to arrive a couple of days earlier.
 
Mine in china. Supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I know it's possible.

Hopefully can track that flight out of China today.

Mine was scanned for departure from China about 40 minutes after your post (4:28pm China Time).

Was yours scanned at this time as well?

If so, it is probably on 5X 113 flight, that took off at 4:45pm.

I ordered an iPhone 5s 32gb Silver AT&T on Thursday, October 3rd, and it came on Monday, October 7th.

This is the second time I heard someone got a free case from Apple? How did you do it, what did you say? I've called apple several times about the delay, etc and I couldn't even get them to upgrade the shipping to expedited. Any tips?

I'm not really worried. I know that as soon as it gets on a plane it'll at my door 15 hours later. It's amazing how fast they get things to you once your flight leaves from China.

Now, if i don't see any movement by this evening, I'll start getting worried. Not worried really though. A day's delay won't kill me.

Just changed my order over the phone with Apple from 16 GB to 64 GB.

Kept the Space Grey/Black color.

Louisville is the united states ups hub. It's all gotta go there first. Louisville airport is the first or second busiest airport in the world for cargo.
