I have seen very few 32gb gold phones with any movement over the past few weeks (granted - I could be missing some). There was some movement with 64gb last week (a number of them shipped on Friday), and some with the 16gb golds. Furthermore, at least in the SF Bay Area, in-store pickup inventory of gold 16gb was plentiful last week, and then today there were a ton of 64gb AT&T models available for quite a while.
Not sure if this is any indicator, but I'm worried that the 32gb gold phones may have had some supply issues. Either that, or they made batches of the other two versions, and they're preparing a 32gb batch now??? Hopefully?
I ordered a 32gb gold iPhone 5S online 1 hour after release on September 20 (4 am EST).
I got an "item shipped" email yesterday morning. The phone is currently in Incheon, Korea and is scheduled for delivery (to Montreal) Monday Oct 21, by the end of the day.

Wow. Hard to believe you were in the first hour of orders and you won't get your phone until the end of this week or early next week. Wonder what that means for my order almost 7 hours later than you?
There were a few other gold phones (64gb, I think) on another thread in this forum that were headed to Canada as well...they just left Incheon last night.

Yes you are correct about the two gold phones -- one was mine. Both are 64GB. They left Korea this morning (EST) and are both heading to Toronto, Ontario.

My status went back to preparing for shipment again, I hope it stays like that and sticks this time around.
I was looking to purchase one when it first came out, and like everyone else, I heard all the talk of everything being out of stock until more or less the holidays in my area (my cousin tried ordering on on her carrier website on Thursday 10th...available to ship in 8 weeks. Seriously.) So knowing this I decided to hold off 'til maybe Thanksgiving time when things might look to pick up inventory wise.
This past Friday, the 11th, I'm at work a bit later than usual, 6:45-7ish, and I start reading a few articles online about the iPhone's scarcity. I then see an article about some iPhone 5S locator in your area, which lets you know which stores have which versions in stock to pickup. So just to pass the time, I look for a gold iPhone 16gb genuinely thinking absolutely nothing would come of this. And boom. There it was clear as day at a couple of Apple stores in my area (NYC & NYC Metro). I was kinda stunned. So I jump on the Apple website immediately to verify this and there it was in stock. The thing was that I would refresh and it instantly knocked the stores back from 6 to 4. Then 4 to 2. I order as quick as I can on Apple's website and arrange a pick up that same night. As I am on the train I'm thinking that this has to be a mistake of some sort. I walk into the store about an 1hr and half later. No lines, nothing. Show the Apple genius my printed sheet stating that my order was ready and the dude just looked at me as if I created it in Photoshop because there was no way it could have been real. He gets his manager and they go to the back and pick up my phone and case which I ordered.
As they ring my stuff up, I ask them why they are so surprised that someone actually found the 5s online. The manager looks at me, still a bit bewildered and states, "It's not that we're surprised you found one. We didn't even KNOW that we had one in this store." And just like that I got an iPhone in gold no less in about 2 hours from ordering one. I'm not stating this to brag or get folks upset. I'm just saying if it happened with me, then anyone else can maybe get the same results. I get the feeling from what the manager was saying, that the stores have no friggin' clue what they get in the shipments Apple sends them. Apple sure as hell knows. And they're not telling. So please, check those availability sites or apps or whatever. They work! I hope this helped someone. Good luck guys.

Finally left Louisville on UPS 2054 bound for Manchester, NH with an ultimate ETA to my doorstep by tomorrow at the close of business. Finally!!!
Mine is in Anchorage now and they are still saying I will get it tomorrow before 12pm .... I hope they are right!
I ordered a Gold 5s on the 8th, i can only speculate when mine will get here.
When I ordered it still said ''ships in October'' then a few days later it changed to
2-3 weeks.

You had to have ordered in the first few days. I called to see about my phone and where it was in the process and complain about the ambiguous ship date of OCTOBER (this is not a date but a month with 31 possibilities) before I could even voice my concerns she offered me a free leather case I really didn't want it I had already ordered 3 other cases for my phone. Then she offered me a free docking station for my inconvenience which I did accept. I really think it depends in several factors. Which phone you ordered(iPhone 5s gold 32 GB) when you ordered(sept 20 10:00am after standing in line for hours), what phone you have currently (4) Apple loyalty and who you get when you call. she asked a few questions and pulled up my account. They've gotten a lot of complaints and are doing whatever they can to please the customer.
Ship me maybe?

Yes you are correct about the two gold phones -- one was mine. Both are 64GB. They left Korea this morning (EST) and are both heading to Toronto, Ontario.

Mine is still stuck in Korea... no departure scan yet. They're clearly not on the same flight. Do all iPhones bound for Canada go from Incheon to Toronto?

I ordered my 16gb silver Sprint iPhone 5S on 9/20 at 7:34am MDT, and I'm still waiting for it. It's been delayed 3 times so far. The latest update says it's scheduled to ship on 10/18, but I've been there before...
My phone has been in "preparing to ship" status since 10/2, so Apple won't cancel my order. The same phone I ordered has been in stock at my local store since 10/4. Apple has sent me headphones and now a red leather case for my 'patience and loyalty', but I'd rather have my phone! I asked for expedited shipping and they say that the can't change the shipping speed since it's "preparing to ship". I think that's a bunch of baloney...

No they don't go that way ... they go from Incheon to Anchorage, to Louisville, to Hamilton, and then to wherever (in this case Toronto).

Ahh, okay, yeah. I thought that was the route, but I misunderstood something upthread.
A UPS flight headed for Anchorage just took off not too long ago from Incheon, but I have no departure scan yet so I guess my phone missed that flight. Blah!
I hope you get your phone today.

Mine is supposed to arrive today Oct 16. Look at the route it took! I'm in Toronto, I don't know why the h*ll it went from Mount Hope ON to Fredericton, NB and back to Mount Hope ON. And now it's stuck and says "Clearance in Progress" UPS really screwed up this delivery.
