iPhone 5S Stuck in ZhengZhou China?

Received the same notification email - showing Arrival:

Just spoke to UPS Int'l. (800-782-7892)
When I gave tracking no. they said immediately
1. that's an Apple shipment.
2. 8:20PM is China time
3. they confirmed that flight has already departed China - enroute directly to Louisville (UPS hub to which all Int'l flights come first)
My email indicated delivery by end of day on 16th.
UPS said if that's a residence it's guaranteed to arrive before 7:00PM

You'll have it to play with over dinner....maybe even late breakfast - if you're lucky. (mind your sticky fingers :) )

Updated (edit to above): something seemed fishy....so called UPS Int'l. again
....sure enough the cheery reassurance given me earlier was entirely incorrect.
Fact is - UPS don't ship on weekend. The Apple consignment will depart Zhengzhou sometime after midnight on Sunday, China time (I'm in LA and they are 15 hours ahead).
Still - there's no reason to think you won't get your phone on Tues. - as your notification indicated (mine is due to arrive on Wed.)

Thanks. It's 2 in the morning Monday in China right now. Does that mean that it has shipped?
 
FYI, UPS does ship all weekend long. However, they don't deliver except special occasion on Saturday.

We routinely receive planes in on Sundays from Alaska which is where the China plane comes to UPS from. Cannot say much more than that due to a nondisclosure agreement :)
 
Ordered 5s, ATT 64gig, space grey on October 9th via apple.com. Has already shipped and will be at my house on the 15th.

Doesn't it still have to go from China to Korea to Alaska, then KY to my doorstep?

At this point that would be ok. I had actually ordered both on 9/20 but there had been some sort of error with the order.
 
That was a quick and painless wait.

I read somewhere on here that FedEx often delivers a day early. Anyone experience this?

Had the same happen to me.

1) Make sure your credit card company has not blocked the transaction (call them and ask).

2) Call apple to see what they say. It never hurts.

I just called no issues, she said it's showing preparing for shipment on their side but it won't change for me until it actually starts shipping so all is good with the order

How are people figuring out the exact flights that the shipments will be on? I'm stuck at the import scan in Louisville. My estimated delivery is tomorrow in Orlando. But idk how to find the actual flights it will be on.
 
I ordered gold 32 GB iphone 5S (AT&T) on 9/25 and I still have not received it yet. Apple app and website both say it should be delivered before Nov 1st. I hope it gets delivered sooner.
 
Ordered on oct 11th.. It said deliver by oct 31 yesterday soo I don't know. Seems like a long time.
