Mine suggests a 1st November delivery with 2-3 day shipping as well. Looks like Apple is pushing a big GOLD iPhone delivery pile together. People who have ordered before me also getting on the same day. Anyways glad there is some visibility into when I'd get mine however does make me nervous & hoping the dates don't get shifted anymore.

Do you guys happen to know if UPS will deliver on Saturday? Has anyone received a Saturday delivery?

Damn UPS.

My iPhone was out for delivery this morning.

I received a delivery exception notice by text message this afternoon. Basically nobody was home, and they will try again on the next business day. Which in this case is next Tuesday due to the Thanksgiving holiday in Canada on Monday.

Well there WAS somebody home sitting in the living room all day waiting for the delivery, with a clear view of the street and front walk. There never was a delivery truck, the doorbell never rang, and there was no delivery card in my mailbox.

I called customer service and they took my phone number, and said someone would call me around 7 pm and I could go to the local facility this evening to pick up the box. Nobody ever called and I learned that the facility closes at 7 and is not open Saturday or Sunday (or Monday due to the holiday).

I am angry enough to spit nails.

This has happened to me before both with UPS and Fed Ex ... drives me crazy. I would be even more pissed if it happened with a phone I had been waiting so long for!

Ordered my 32gb gray 5s from AT&T yesterday, and it shipped today. I am very pleasantly surprised. When I placed the order, estimated shipping date was 10/21-10/30.

I placed my order on Sept. 22nd.

The order status now says "Delivers Nov 4 by Standard Shipping."

I'm not sorry to say such a long delay sucks.

Next time I'll try Android; at least Samsung has adequate inventory before launching a new product.

See ya!

And think about it for a minute. Why is there adequate inventory? Really simple. It doesn't sell as well. Plus, they develop the tech then wait til they get an inventory ready then sell. Next time iPhone comes out, wait 2 months to order. It is basically the same thing.

I have never understood peoples complaint on waiting. Apple chooses to develop, start bulk production, announce and then ship in short time. Others develop, bulk produce, hold for a while and then release with more inventory. The announcement for them could come 6 months prior to release or 6 months after they started bulk production. So you want to buy 'older tech' because you can buy it the day its available? Well buy the iPhone 5S in two months and it is the same difference.

That's why I always choose USPS when ordering online (not available with apple), since they deliver on Saturdays.

Well I received mine today. I was so excited for it and had been waiting anxiously for it... Tracked it since day one...
Opened it up, restored from my iPhone 5 backup and had the phone setup the same within minutes.

Once I started using it I'm not really impressed. I'm a very techy person, upgraded my phone ever year sine original iPhone... It seems like either the iPhone 5 was a big jump or the 5s is a lousy upgrade..the best thing is touch ID. It's really good and works very good...

I think I'll be returning the 5S unfortunately. P.S I think I like the slate color of my iPhone 5 more than the space grey of the 5s.. Just my opinion

I actually just got an iPhone 5! I didn't like the design of the 5c, and I wasn't all that impressed with the 5s, so the 5 it was. I went to an AT&T store, and they still had the iPhone 5 at a discounted price!

I want to take the time to share my 5s experience which has ended in a victory today. Yes I am a Launch Day Gold 32gb purchaser through Apple.com around noon with the dreaded October ship date, and Yes I did receive the kick in the face email of shipping October 24-28 with a receiving of November 3rd but you know what, I kept hope alive through the good old "pickup in store" option featured on Apple.com which most of you know about, and by golly today I struck Gold. Once I saw that the fifth avenue, upper westside, and also the grand central locations had gold available, I quickly called 1800 Apple and told her to Cancel. All it took was 3-5 minutes for my upgrade to be available and I was able to purchase for pick up, which took about 30 minutes before I received the victorious "we're ready for you" email. So folks keep hope alive and don't wait around for ups, keep checking the in store pick up option. I am a proud result!

All in all, I would like to say in the words of Ice Cube. "Today was a good day"

my statin white 5S 32Gb will arrive next Tuesday, exactly 2 weeks after placing the order on line with apple.

The 5s isn't supposed to be a big jump -- it's simply a refinement of the 5, just like the 4s was a refinement of the 4. I'm not sure what you expected?

Gold at Best buy three in stock

Snagged a VZW 64GB Gold at Best Buy here in CT. They had three in stock yesterday. I also asked about price match and he "looked it up" and gave it to me for the apple price.

Online it says best buy is selling it for the same price apple is...what did you have to price match?

Waiting.....

Ordered on release day. So that's 22 days, maybe 23 if you count the day ordered. Still waiting....... Anyone read the story about the QC guy on the Apple assembly line getting beat up by the assembly line workers? I think it was David Bowie, correct me if I'm wrong, did the song; Under Pressure.

Just glad I don't work the Chinese assembly line building iDevices. :apple:

Apple.... Send them jobs home! :)

Waiting on a 64gb Gold AT&T since 9/20 10am PST

Just canceled my iPhone order and ordered a 99 cent T-mobile prepaid SIM card using this code: TMOSIM (which expires tomorrow). I decided to just use my old Android (Nexus One).

I have been reading about a lot of problems with the new iOS and iPhone 5s and last night when I was at the Apple Store Genius Bar there were quite a few people having problems with their new iPhone 5s. I decided for 99 cents I'm better off to wait for the iPhone 6 next year.

I called best buy corporate last night and they were able to find one store close to me that had one 16GB Verizon space grey and they placed it on hold and I picked it up today. I had an order with apple but I didn't feel like waiting.

If there is an Apple store near you and you don't mind getting there early, at about 8am or earlier and waiting in line, the Apple store reps, told me they get shipments in every morning but people wait in line every morning to buy out all the stock.

It wouldn't make sense to ship them together, unless you'd want to wait until your daughter's phone is ready to ship. I think most people would be pretty angry if they did that.
