This is my situation, still processing items and ordered on the 25th October. It's due next week, so i'm waiting to see how this turns out. I would like to ask something: do they charge you credit card when you place your order, or only when they ship your item?

first they reserve the amount of cash, and the bank has normaly 2 week notice on it, after 2 weeks the reserved money fades. And then they will charge when they're preparing the order, which is our next step on the order to happend.

Do you get an email when it changes from Processing to Preparing for Shipment?
Or only when its actually Dispatched?

That's annoying as hell...

That happened to me also, but they refunded my money. I saw my credit card transactions and they charged my card on the day I placed the order and checked it again today and I have my money back and no transaction recorded. Strange as hell...

Same here, it was under 'protected value' now its gone and no charges have been made, i'd guess it will get charged when they change the status order. Tonight!!! ;) Or tomorrow!!!

Tonight or tomorrow? Are you Sure? I'm thinking about waiting for iPhone 6, It may come earlier to Spain than the 5S JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA

Apple came through for me!!! I waited a week to see if the stores here in Central Florida would get the Gold 64gb in stock, but no luck. I did notice that they were getting a lot of Space Grey and Silver iPhones but I want that Gold! I decided to bite the bullet and ordered my phone on Nov 4th. It said available to ship 2-3 weeks (Nov 27-Dec 4) but 2 days later, Nov 6th, I got another email that my shipment was on its way along with a tracking number. Of course, I'm tracking it like a crazy person.

Currently:
Scheduled Delivery: Tuesday, 11/12/2013, By End of Day

Incheon, Korea 11/07/2013
ZhengZhou, China 11/07/2013
ZhengZhou, China 11/06/2013
China 11/06/2013 Order Processed: Ready for UPS

I don't know if the iPhone gods smiled on me or if they have been ramping up production, or maybe not many people want 64gb, but I'll take it. Anyway, I hope it means that you all will get your phones quicker than expected too!
