Mine is at the local fedex facility now but hasn't been put on a truck to be out for delivery yet... it's 8:35AM and I'm actually off today and not tomorrow. Do you think I can just drive the 5 minutes and go pick it up from them today? What time do those trucks usually go out for delivery?!
 
First time poster here.
My MBA is on a Fedex truck out for delivery right now. Should I assume that it definitely will be delivered today? Luckily I'm only skipping one class.

Its the 2.13 4gb 256gb version. My first mac. Its luverly (he says, trying not to slobber)...

Runs very cool and quick most of the time. I've installed virtualbox on it and Ubuntu 10.04, just to see how it copes. It got pretty warm during the installation, on the whole though, very cool. And maybe I'm a bit deaf, but I can't hear the fan at all, which is great.

It's the day!! My MBA is now on the FedEx truck in Fort Worth waiting to be delivered, and I am here early this morning at the office waiting on the delivery. Probably less than an hour to go and I will have my 11.6" Ultimate MBA in my hands!!

Yayayayayyyy!!!

So nothing beats the ecstasy of this: having spoken to every local Apple-related person, and being told the new air will only come to Singapore in 2 weeks, feeling dejected & frustrated, to find out via an Apple e-mail that my original tentative delivery date of 16th November is now November....wait for it....3rd!!! I literally JUMPED in joy when I saw the e-mail. YESSSS!!!! My new 13"/1.86GHz/256GB/4GB MBA just left Shanghai! I love the world right now =)
 
Mine came in today.

One week from order on a custom config. Nice! :D

Downside is it's charging while I have to do scads a work before I'll have time to play with it. But soon!
 
My status too just changed to being on the FedEx truck for delivery... so hopefully, I'll see it today! Congrats to those who got theirs in.. I'm currently in the process of moving a ton of files and docs over from my MBP to an external drive...

arghh cobblers, got to east mids just after 2.00am and has been sat with no progress since, even though the estimated delivery still taunts me with 1st of Nov :mad:

same story here. ordered 10/23, called and added expedited shipping 10/24 (i'll be asking for that to be refunded, as the delivery estimation did not change at all), shipped on 10/27, delivered a day before fedex's estimated date on 11/1. although it was less than 50 miles from me on friday night :(
 
Finally it has arrived!! :)

So far it's super fast! Not even a bounce before apps open. Need to load up my virtual machine and test how fast that will preform. Very pleased.

Good job apple.
 
Mine is now saying that it's had an 'unload scan' in Cologne... That doesn't sound particularly promising...

At least somethings happening?! I'm assuming that means someone took it off of a truck!
Im just worried that we don't have an import scan. It won't depart without an import scan! Still got my fingers crossed for delivery tomorrow!

EDIT: have a scheduled delivery timed of 3rd Nov :(

EDIT: The unload scan is showing on the Posted App but not on the UPS site.
 
Yeah i suppose it means it's moving. Man, I never thought I'd obsess over a delivery date before, this can't be heathy :D

That said, the delivery date is finally showing up, but as the 3rd. Guess I'll have to pine for it one more day :eek:

Same here...sat in Syracuse sorting office over the weekend. I was tempted to grab a crowbar and a balaclava.

It got it's departure scan in the early hours of the morning, and since then it just says IN TRANSIT TO EAST MIDLANDS AIRPOR, GB

I think you might just make, the fact you have 5 whole working days (4 now) means it shouldn't really get delayed anywhere. Fingers crossed it'll be out for delivery on Friday :cool:

I also have the Unload scan (on the Posted app).
I really hope its on the move again tomorrow when I wake up.
 
Hi guys...

I know this is a noob question but i just need to ask.

Where do you guys obtain the actual carrier tracking info?

How would I know if its fedex, ups etc.

I live in the UK.

Waiting for my macbook air anxiously...

i ordered on the 25...
