Final update! I received mine today around four. Beyond happy, it's working great on Straight Talk.
I previously had a date of 10/3, and my phone sat in Shanghai for over a day. Now it's almost on it's third day in Shanghai. At first, I figured that there was a mistake related to the arrival scans, but now I'm thinking otherwise. The date has now been moved to 10/6. I ordered a Verizon iPhone 6 16GB in Space Gray.
Why I am punished?
I am (for now) with ATT but ATT don't sell unlock iPhones "go to the Apple store'

They should be selling them. You can buy a iPhone 6 full price at verizon. They come unlocked out of the box.

I live in Syracuse, NY (Upstate) but maybe I can secretly think they are getting NY State orders faster?! Thats really fast...how many palms did you have to grease to get it that fast!?

Be happy you have an actual confirmation email. I didn't even get an email confirming I bought the damn thing from Verizon
I chatted live support and of course they shovel the most annoying thing "My system is down sorry you have to call the 800 number"...I can't stand calling the 800 number its so frustrating its not even worth it...I bought my 64GB Space Gray iPhone 6 from an Authorized Verizon store and the manager of the store personally got me set up but I have no way of confirming it. "My Verizon" says I havent made any orders in the past 21 days. The order was on the 28th... I don't care if it ships in 2-3 weeks or whatever but I want a confirmation email...Has anyone experienced the same thing as me? This is frustrating as hell....
Got notification that my mom's iPhone 6 - 16gb gold was shipped today. She ordered it the same day as me 9/27 and has shipping dates of 10/7-10/16. The only thing is that it says it's coming USPS which I'm not really happy about it. Afraid it's going to take forever to get here.

Well I ordered through Apple's online store a few days after they started to take pre-orders, took about 10 days to be shipped from there.

Lol. At my old house I loved my UPS guy. He was so nice and friendly. I remember when I got my iPhone 5. He already knew I was excited and gave me my phones lol
Ordered a 64 GB, Space Grey 6 online through Apple on the 29th of September; just got my shipping notification this morning! It's slated for an October 8th delivery! Hopefully that estimate holds true.

Yes they can only hold a payment for 3-5 days and then the hold has to be removed until right before they ship your phone!
