The "I just bought/ordered/shipped/received my new iPhone 6/6 Plus" thread

tl;dr; Received AT&T 128GB SG iP6 seven days after ordering it from Apple.

Ordered my AT&T 128GB Space Grey iPhone 6 from Apple on Oct 2. It originally said Oct 21-24 for delivery. Then on Oct 4 it shipped early and Apple said it would deliver on Oct 13, but then UPS tracking said it would deliver early on Oct 9. I did in fact get it yesterday, on Oct 9th. Very happy that it arrived so quickly.

I bought purchased it with AT&T Next. The down side to that is that it will only ship to your billing address (which in my case is my house), and there are no other options. I normally would ship to the office I work at. You can pre-sign, but I wouldn't want to have it sitting at my door step. Fortunately someone was home when it delivered and it was waiting for me when I got home from work.

Now I'll be shopping for a better case, currently using a $5 Caseology case I bought as a temporary solution. Planning to get a thin, grippy case, like the Apple Silicone case, and I'm hoping that will help with one-handed use (which is pretty difficult otherwise, including case-less).

I ordered a 128G SG 6Plus on 10.19 through AT&T Next. Still waiting like most everyone for their new iPhone. This will be my 4th iPhone. I'm also a long time Apple customer.

Not too pleased about having to wait 6 weeks or longer for a phone, but I'm grateful my 4S is still working well enough. :cool:

Received my Plus today! # goodness what an incredible phone, just can't keep my hands off it! Definitely worth the 2 week wait!

So far I have not been able to point out anything wrong with the device, even the display is spot on perfect. No bleeding, dead pixels etc. Could not be happier!
 
Walked into an at&t store on 10/9 and asked the door greeter if they had any iPhone 6's in stock. a sales rep walked up and said they didn't, but if I wanted a 6 and not a 6 plus they had fairly decent shipping times as early as 3-5 days for silver 128GB. I opted for the space gray in 128GB and they said it would ship in about a week. The only reason I didn't order from apple.com is I'm on a family plan and they would have shipped it to my in-laws' house. Anyway I would have loved the instant gratification if I had been able to score a 6 in the store but it's still fun to have something to look forward to.

How far are you guys from Apple Stores? If one is near you its easier to just go to there online stock and wait till it comes in and reserve it for pickup. I found this one site where it would text me when the model, colour, and storage i wanted was available for reserve to pickup. Went on Apple's site to reserve it and picked it up 1 hour later. Got my 64GB Space Grey 6+ on Monday :) Wasn't even sure till about last week if I wanted one but finally decided to get it but all stock was gone so I waited a week for that site to text me lol. I live in Canada if that matters.

thx but i believe every store is different...depending where you are from. Cali don't any phones at the moment.
 
Wow this was unexpected. I ordered a space gray 128gb 6 at an AT&T store yesterday and USPS delivered it today!

seriously...how could they deliver that fast?
 
Why not just find the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 plus in a Store instead of ordering online for it? I got my iPhone 6 plus in Target on September 25th
 
Anyone here that placed their order around October 2nd get their "preparing for shipment" status change yet? Mine stil says "Processing Items" for a week now and it's driving me nuts!

I ordered a 64Gb Space Gray iPhone 6 Plus on Tmobile (Unlocked) through Apple Online Store.

i ordered 128gb space gray iphone 6 plus tmobile unlocked on the 28th and still processing. this next week something should happen on mine.,, i hope... seems to be around 20-25 days for people to get their pluses.

Mine was ordered on 9/26 and it's still processing.
 
I ordered oct. 8 and my estimated delivery is Nov 6?! The people who preordered should definitely receive theirs first. However, I think 2 weeks is more reasonable from whatever date you placed the order. It almost seems the plus' are made to order bc almost a month seems kinda ridiculous. Was the wait this long for any of the iPhone 5 versions?
