The "I just bought/ordered/shipped/received my new iPhone 6/6 Plus" thread

Ordered a 64GB PLUS in Slate Grey on the 30th from Verizon. They estimated it would ship no later than November 7th. Until then, I'll patiently wait... Aaaand play with the cardboard actual size model of the phone I made... 😀:apple:
 
Just in case this helps anyone, on October 7th I placed my order for:

1 iPhone 6 64GB Silver
1 iPhone 6 64GB Space Grey

Checked the status on October 8 and it says "Preparing for Shipment" 😎

Arrival is Oct 24-29 which is fine by me. As long at it's delivered before the end of the month I'm happy.

I'll update as much as I can. Cheers.

Edit: Both phones, T-Mobile contract free

Placed an order 2 iPhone 6+ (1 gold, 1 silver) on 4/10 via sprint telesales. have the standard 4-6 weeks timeline. I was hoping to switch to T-mobile but I noticed that they had the same or worse wait times. So just staying with sprint.

Date/Time Ordered: 10-8-14; 6:53 a.m.
Device: iPhone 6 (regular)
Color/Gigs: Space Gray, 64 GB

Ordered via: PC, Apple.com
Plan: NEXT Upgrade

I checked my order status around 9:26 a.m. and my order status changed to "Preparing for shipment." I was also charged for the phone. My estimate delivery date is October 27-30.:apple:😛
 
So after coming home from the best show of my life in Austin (New Found Glory, highly recommend seeing them), I had a notice on my front door that a first attempt was made to deliver my phone.

Called to set up personal pick up since I'm working rest of the week and I'm impatient. I am now the proud owner of a beautiful 64GB Space Gray iPhone 6.

Ordered on 10/3 and delivered on 10/8. Fastest I've ever gotten one. Nice to see they're caught up on orders. Retail stores are seeing shortages where I'm from, so I'm still very surprised I got mine so fast. I feel fortunate I didn't go through much, or any, trouble at all.

I did! I ordered 2 6 plus' through Apple for AT&T (resigned a 2 year commitment) Apple's wait times where shorter and they had a more accurate time of delivery! Also I had an issue with my 5 preorder through AT&T so I would not recommend that route!

Yes. I ordered 2 64gb plus' (SG and Gold) through Apple for AT&T around 8:30 am EST on 9/19 after standing in line all night to realize they had no more in stock! I am still processing! A friend ordered a 16gb SG plus shortly after and he is too!

From the posts I have read on the forms, the last of the preorders are receiving their shipment notifications now! Everyone you see getting their phones has pre-ordered or got the regular 6! I am guessing we should get charged and get a notification of shipment by next week!

Hang in there we are almost there and then the agonizing process of watching it slowly move towards your home state begins!

FOR ANYONE THAT PREORDERED WITH VERIZON:

My contract wasn't up until 10/29, but Verizon bumped everyone up...so I preordered two 64GB 6 pluses on 9/16. I originally got just an order number (a 10-digit number) and an 11/4 expected ship date.

I wasn't getting any updates from VZW's vanilla order status page besides "Your order is processing. Your shipping details will be available soon." I'd preordered from Verizon in the past, so I knew there was another, better site on Verizon that would give more info, and I eventually found the link on Reddit:

Then I called Verizon's customer service to get my Preorder Confirmation Number (a 16-digit number). The very nice rep texted it to me. Now I use that number on that link above and it tells me lots more info, as well as my ship date is now 10/31.

Hi, I ordered via Apple. (I need unlocked units)

Update: Shipment notification sent on Oct 9.

Estimated delivery date has changed and is now October 17 for both phones.

Now to start tracking them..... 🙂

Order Update:

ordered through Apple.com on Sept. 30 (iPhone 6 - 64GB - Space Gray - AT&T)

Delivered Today! 😀

(and still none at my local Apple stores)
 
Just an update as I see many of my fellow "9/19 team" has posted... I ordered 2 64gb iPhone 6 plus' one SG and one Gold on the morning of 9/19 through Apple for AT&T. I was given a 3-4 week shipping time and a estimated delivery of 10/20 - 10/27... Today after weeks of processing my status changed to preparing to ship and my credit card was charged in full! Our phones have been created and are about to start their worldwide journey to our homes! I hope this helps everyone who has been patiently waiting!

Can't believe I have to wait this long. So sad for my heart. 🙁
I keep calling ATT to see if they have any in stock (not picking up) and to be honest, I don't think they do.
 
Has this happened to anyone else?

I noticed today that when I am not on a wifi connection and have my mobile data enabled for some reason my 3g is fine with my cell connection and when I have LTE turned on my cell connection for some reason goes down? I don't understand since they supposidly are different systems why if my LTE is on my texts struggle to go out but when I turn it off my texts go out just fine. Anyone have any ideas? I've just for now kept my LTE off so that I don't miss messages especially since my grandmother right now isn't doing too well.

Might have something to do with your LTE coverage.
 
My phone is supposed to be delivered today but it still shows In Transit... I can only hope it does arrive today...

Wish it just shipped with UPS rather than TNT
 
Well count me in as a soon to be owner of the iPhone 6 plus.

I saw one of my local apple stores had one available for local pickup so I ordered it through apple. I wanted to get my wife one as well, but since I'm switching carriers which includes transferring a phone number there didn't seem to be a way to add a second transfer. I tried for a little while before giving up.

I'll order one for the wife from ATT once my account is set up.
