Mine has been moving quite fast. UPS shows a delivery date or December 4th now (Nov 18 order).

I'm kinda debating on whether I should have got a Plus now. From what I've been told I can return my purchase to the closest Apple Store if necessary? Or do I have to go through the hassle of shipping it back. I'll most likely keep the normal 6 but I like to know my options.

I can't swear by it by I believe you can go to your nearest Apple Store. They usually have a stock in store that aren't "available" to someone who walks in wanting to buy one that they keep for returns. I think if you chose to change to the big model, if they had the color and memory you wanted they'd try to exchange it as if you were asking for a replacement of a defective model. We had a problem with my 5S last year and they had a gold/64 in house to replace it with... Look around here, someone's likely posted about doing it.

Ordered the SG 6+ 128 GB from the Apple online store on Nov 18th. Called yesterday about the iTunes Gift Card Black Friday Deal. Should receive it by email in a week or two she said...

I ALSO got the 7-10 day notice sometime last night. If you don't mind saying, what date did you order your phone ?? I ordered on the 26th directly from Apple Online Store using an ATT Next option. And did you call Apple for that gift card (wouldn't mind having me one of those). I own my 5S (64g gold) and was going to sell it to Nextworth at Target and get their quoted rate of $215.00 in a gift card, I might also see what Apple would give me. I always use a good case and screen protector and when I turn them in they look like they're right out of the box. NOS (New Old Stock).

Nov 18th. I did call yesterday for the Black Friday deal... They were very accommodating and seemed to know how to update my order to include it with no issues

I called Apple customer service and asked if I could change my order from 6 to 6 plus. They told me to just bring the 6 to a store after I received it and they will exchange.

What date did you order ?? I made the mistake of reading the "first impressions" thread some this morning, and many people at first regretted the Plus model but then couldn't live without the extra screen size. I'm retired and wear jeans so will need to see how that goes, quote unquote. With my poor eyesight it will be interesting to see if I'm more Plus or iPad Air when I'm browsing on the couch.

I ordered on 11/14. I had called a local Apple store to see if they had stock and she also checked other stores for me with no luck. I just decided to place the order over the phone since it seemed like a rat race I wasn't going to win….My first date range was 11/26-12/2 then it changed to 12/2-12/5 and now it should be delivered on 12/1. So it's all a ballpark until you actually see it ship and get your tracking number….

I think more and more people rely on their cell phone for most communication now and days vs. a computer or iPad type device. Especially when not at home. This is where the 6+ is a nice option. However, I prefer the 6 just because it's more portable, I am a girl, and have smaller hands. My co-workers husband got her the 6+ as a gift and it is a nice size for 'her'. She carries a large purse and has it in a portfolio type case. It reminds me of a large wallet until you flip it open. I like some of the plus features the 6 doesn't do and perhaps my next iPhone will be bigger…..

On another note, I called the Apple Online Store regarding my Wednesday order of the 128GB GOLD PLUS and asked for the $50.00 gift card. The nice young lady I spoke to said that was only good on Black Friday itself. Oh well. Glad I skipped the drama and frustration of running around trying to find the phone I wanted in real stores. The closest my wife and I have been to shopping on the Black Friday weekend was taking our dog to the dog park for a good run... It's very mellow around here.

Just changed carriers and picked up the iPhone 6 plus. My oh my! After ticketing with the iPhone 6 Plus in the Apple Store on launch day I knew the iPhone wasn't for me.

I decided to bite the bullet and see if the size would be beneficial. Must I say, I'm absolutely loving the screen size.

The wife and I were in SAMs and I laid my 5S on top of the 6Plus and the 5S in it's case is just the size of the 6 Plus screen !! WOW

Been a while since I last posted here. My 64 GB, Space Gray, T-Mobile iPhone 6 Plus arrived back at the beginning of November. Overall, I'd say I don't regret the purchase. I had 1 instance of the dreaded Error 110 BSOD over the Thanksgiving weekend, but I think that might have been caused by the Skyfire browser app I was using. It may not have been optimized for the newer phone (it certainly isn't optimized for the 1080p screen...), but I was also using it to attempt to convert a flash video into something I could watch. In other words, I'm not convinced it's the phone's fault at this time.

My package was 'Out for delivery' today. My mom was at my place today around 11:30 picking up my dog and the UPS driver was in the parking lot. She asked if he had a package for me and he said yes. Then she waits around and he finally says he couldn't find it and had to come back later. Well, he didn't come back, so I can only assume he either never got the package from the hub or ran out of time to deliver it

I understand it's the holidays and they are super busy now…..but let's update the status of the packages in real time if they know it's not going to make it. That's the part that drives me nuts. The feeling of 'hope' then watching the time pass knowing that it's not being delivered. There are very few things I get excited about getting delivered, and this is one of them……

I still haven't received mine. It should have arrived last Tuesday. Apparently UPS has lost it, and Apple has begun the process of asking for a trace on it.

Apple also put a replacement order in for me on Friday and it's Prepared to Ship w/ expedited shipping. Hopefully UPS doesn't lose this one.

UGH that sucks….

Is it me, or does this seem to happen a lot with the new iPhones? Or is magnified because we all sit here waiting in anticipation, track the package, share the route our iPhones take from China to their destination counting the days then hours before it potentially arrives, then commiserate when it doesn't arrive when it should

My card was immediately charged and went to "Preparing for Shipment." As I started writing this, I got the coveted "Shipped" email! Can't believe the coincidence!

Original expected delivery date range is Dec 10-Dec 12, and in the shipment email it has been updated to Dec 8 via 2-3 day shipping. Since Dec 8 would be 4-5 business days away, do you think I have a good shot at getting it before end of week? Also, anyone know if the 2-3 day shipping allows for Saturday delivery?

Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my questions -- pretty excited as you might imagine, especially since I'm upgrading from a 4S!

Trlyka: YES, the waiting is the hardest part (as Tom Petty would sing).
I know in our rural area of Jersey that the UPS drivers work very late, it they have a load they don't go home until the truck is emptied. And to make matters worse they have supervisors watching them via the trucks' GPS. So if the driver has a by 10:30 on the truck and a By End Of Business Day also and it's right nearby his boss will crack knuckles if he drops off the By End Of Business Day parcel even though he's RIGHT THERE... I'm real generous to my driver (I used to buy a lot of cigars from Cuba and guitars and either baked or gave him smokes).

SpendWisely: I looks like folks with 128 Plus have the longest wait, to see a 64gb go out that fast must say something about the stock of those they have on hand. I ordered my ATT Gold 128GB Plus via 2-3 Day Delivery on Wednesday the 26th and you've surely gone whizzing past me, they still have not charged my account for the phone.

FLipstar, sorry they lost yours. If they say they'll expedite delivery now that it has been lost, they will... Darn I feel your pain.

It'll be interesting to see when mine finally takes off and how low that 2-3 Day Delivery takes, does that get you Saturday delivery ?? WE will see...

My shipping email from Apple suggested a Dec 9 date (November 18 order), however, UPS says it will be delivered by the end of Dec 4th. I really do not think I'll have it in 2 days.

I impulsively ordered a "certified as new" space gray 64 GB iPhone 6 from att last night for $249. I'm having mixed emotions! I have been using my iPhone 5 16 gb that was a $99 refurbished phone from att also and it has been great these past two years. I took the kids to Walmart the other day and I walked into their wireless place and I played with the iPhone 6 and I was amazed! I'm just hoping that feeling doesn't wear off and I'm happy with the size increase! I really like my i5 and it will be missed! Other 5/5s people how is the size? Is it ok? I have pretty small hands. Did you adjust ok? Or regretting having the 6 after awhile?

HECK you already had one very good experience with the ATT Certified As New phone, this will be just as good. Especially if it's Certified As New via Apple doing the refurbishing. I've purchased a 24 inch iMac and a 27 inch iMac via Apples Factory Refurbished sales, I've also purchased a 30gb iPod Photo that was factory refurbished. In all cases I could not distinguish any scratches or issues with them, the savings was significant.

I think we're all just nervous waiting for our phones. Look back on last years 5S thread I was right in there with the nail chewers asking questions. LOL.
