Had to order seperate, said can't preorder two at once.

Verizon Dates

I ordered through Verizon. At order completion it said, Delivers by 9/19. The confirmation email says delivers on 10/7. The order status page says it SHIPS on 10/14. I hope this is just a small hiccup and everything arrives on 9/19.

One for me and one for the wife.

So I slept through my 3am alarm, woke up at 4:45am EST in a panic. Tried for 30 min only getting errors but did get a reservation message from Apple. Wife woke up at 5:45 and asked me if I got it, I said I didn't yet and would try again in the morning. Woke up and checked my email, she ordered it at 5:50am no problem! I feel a little emasculated. . The phone is for her, though, so I guess it's ok.

Apple Store website was an Epic Fail...thanks to everyone who sharing the idea of using the AppleStore app instead.

Hate this shell game every year

I've been burned by AT&T and so I preferred using the Apple site. But since it was down for 40 minutes and I finally got through to AT&T and needed to get back to sleep ( east coast) I ordered from them. 10-14 day estimate. Wake up to a new 10/14-10/22 estimate via a annoyingly cheery AT&T email. Same phone can be ordered from Apple right now with 3 to 4 week estimate. Now I'm reading that people finally got through to Apple using the app (which I tried) at about the time I ordered at 3:40 AM EST and have 9/19 estimates. WTH!!! Every year I try to order right at kick off and get screwed. Stop the shell game! One website, one que, please. Enough with the insanity, Apple.

I did the same thing at my local EE store in the UK.

128GB Space Gray iPhone 6 Plus for me
64GB Gold iPhone 6 Plus for the wife

I was the first one in the store at 08:00, was told I'd get an email confirming availability from EE. The guy in the store thought I'd be able to pick it up on launch day, hope they have stock!

A quick note on EE UK pricing.

I'm going for a 2 year contract:

128GB 6+ £149.99 up front
£75.99/month for 50GB Data and unlimited minutes/texts

So for a £789 handset, I'm getting a £640 subsidy = £26.67/month over 24 months.

So effectively I'm paying £49/month for 50GB of 4G data

Mine opened at 9am, And i was the 1st one in.

I was able to order a 6 128Gb Gold and a 6 64GB gold at 2:55am EST on Verizon website, and My pre-order confirmation came thru at 3:09am. Went back to the verizon site and was able with much trouble to order my daughter a iphone 5S 64gb White by 3:51am (she did not want a bigger phone, she prefers the smaller sizes). The period between the two times the verizon site was bogged down. The Apple Store site and app was so full that it never came up until after 4:00am for me.


The Iphone 6s deliver on 19th.
The Iphone 5S Delivers on 15th.

Got all those through Apple.com, which was kind of an ordeal. Wife's order took about half an hour of clicking back from errors to get it to go all the way through. Mine took another 15 minutes.

Haha I'm in the same situation my mine and my wife's 6 Plus's, she's getting here's first while mine is 7-10 days.

I was up at 3am EST ready to order. Fought with Apple.com for awhile and checked AT&T's site but they were saying 10-14 days from the very beginning. Tried the app and it kept telling me that every phone for every carrier was unavailable. Fought with Apple.com a while more and at about 4am I saw someone else post that they had tried with Chrome and it wouldn't let them but Safari did. I had been trying with Safari and Firefox, so I tried with Chrome and suddenly it let me through. Ordered a 16gb Space Grey 6+ for AT&T and a 16gb Gold 6+ for Sprint. Both set to be delivered on 9-19. Order already says processing. I'm so excited...this is going to be the longest week ever

Didnt get a confirmation until this morning and it says will ship in 21-28 business days. Yay?

Finally got order in on Apple Store app at 3:40 AM EDT. Note that I also saw all items unavailable until I said 'upgrade another line' and not 'this phone' and then it worked perfectly. Wonder if that would have worked at 3:15 when store opened?!

Also got confo email about 10 mins later. And an email from Apple at 7:30 AM saying 'come preorder'. Lol!

Well i must say, I've preordered since the 4 and this has been the most bizarre preorder launch. I didn't trust At&t's site since they screwed me a long time ago by cancelling my 4 preorder, so I had my mac safari opened to the apple store and my iphone and ipad on the app. 2:00am (central time) rolled around and i started refreshing in ernest. Eventually able to reach the store through the app on both my iphone and ipad, but not my mac. However the apps were having an issue (that was widespread i hear) where the "continue" button for orders wasn't showing up. So i could see when something would be delivered but couldn't place an order. I watched in saddness (lol it's a phone) as my 128gb Iphone 6+ went from 9/19 to 7-10 days. My apps still werent working, so i grabbed my dads iphone, downloaded the app, and was able to place my order on his phone. A 64gb Iphone 6+ space grey with delivery on 9/19!

I tried ordering through Apple on my phone but it stalled, so I went to my laptop and ordered it through AT&T. In spite of ordering at 5:30am on the West Coast, it says my delivery date is Sept 19th. I got a confirmation email within a few minutes that also said my delivery will be on the 19th. I feel like I have magical wizard powers now, since that's the easiest preorder I've ever made. I got the 64GB Space Gray iPhone 6.
