Wish I didn't have to work on Friday, that will feel like the longest day ever with my iPhone Plus sitting at home!
Ordered mine straight to the office, lol. A possible perk is when I was checking out there was an option for faster shipping, which of course I clicked on. It had a toggle switch for 'Business Address'. Hell yeah!

So I pre-ordered the 6 silver on Friday morning from AT&T. I got an email saying it's preparing for shipment and to be shipped on 9/23. Should I cancel it and just get in line at like Walmart Friday morning?

I ordered 2 iphones; and iphone 6 and a 6 plus. The iPhone 6 that is getting delivered 9/19 just changed to "preparing for shipment" over night..
While the 6 plus that is getting shipped to a store for in store pick up still says "processing order".
Has anyone that has ordered for in store pick up have had any change in the status???

My UPS guy usually comes by 11 or so. There's just that hour or so that I have to leave to pick up my kids that concerns me. Hopefully the option will show up. That said, I only have my fingers crossed that I'll even get moved up to delivery this Friday.
Finally was able to get a tracking number from the UPS website!
Use the destination zip code and phone number (##########) on the UPS track by reference page.
I'd just wait a few more days for the phone. Enjoy a nice fall Friday morning that is stress free. I know it means no phone on day 1, but hey you're going to get plenty of face time with this new device when it comes in (pun intended)

ordered 2 iphones, 1 iphone 6 and 1 iphone plus both pickup on friday around 2:30 AM PST and it's still in "processing items"
from what i've been reading, the status updates are different for store pickup then shipping, so I think the pickup updates will change very close to the release date

Did not work for me. Said "code not valid." But thanks for sharing it and it seemed to have worked for others.
Two years ago I had the 5 pre-ordered and was not home to sign, so left a note on the door. The UPS guy left the phone and took the note, so I thought all was fine. A day later, another UPS guy came to the door and required me to sign that I got the phone and that the delivery man that originally brought my phone broke protocol and never should have left it so they were covering for him by getting my signature the next day.
Lucky for me, not so lucky for the guy that probably got in trouble. This year I had it sent to my office so that I know someone will be able to sign for it.
