19/9-23/9 but I'm in zone 1 so launch day is the expected delivery date. Weird that it's still processing though eh? However most of the processing phones have been the same one as mine.
Yeah mine too. Did yours ever change to "Preparing for Shipment"? That's the most concerning thing for me, is that mine changed to preparing for shipment for a while. Another poster mentioned it happened to him a couple of years ago and caused his order to be delayed. I've spoken to Apple twice and Verizon once and both are saying everything is okay... but, I'm feeling anxious about it anyway. A family member just passed away, so I think I'm channeling some of that anxiety here...
Nope, don't believe it changed at all. My card was already been charged the full amount (still processing at the moment though) minutes after my order went though the apple store app though.
Yeah, I've got two pending charges (one is for Applecare.) I did use the reservation system to pick up the order later. So that may have something to do with it. But it still says it's scheduled to deliver on 9/19...
Tracking Number Not Found
Should I be concerned? Is anyone else receiving this message?
"UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later."
I wasn't expecting it to ship so soon anyway as I was given an Oct date so I've actually ordered another phone on Apple.com once I was able to get through (used the app). Now I need to cancel one of these orders and I'd figured it would be the Verizon order but if it is actually going to be here on Friday then I'll cancel the Apple order. Ah the drama...
Another thing that is not making feel very comfortable about the Verizon order is the fact that I was given a UPS tracking number but when I click on the link it takes me to the FedEx website. Nothing about the Verizon ordering and communication process is making me feel comfortable.
Should I be worried. I need to cancel one of these orders and can't decide which one to cancel. If I can get the tracking detail to show up on the UPS website I'd feel a lot better.

you can still get one the morning of. I suggest trying untraditional places like:

Radio Shack
Mugging Dudes

QUESTION for people who previously pre-ordered an iphone: Will the delivery man (UPS?) leave the phone at the door? i have to work friday and i'm afraid my deliveryman will not leave the package at my door. i live in a secure building, so I have no concerns about my iphone getting stolen but not sure what delivery policy is for the iphones. thanks for any info or tips anyone can provide.
No, but you can sign for it indirectly. There is a form you can print out off of apple's site once it has shipped.
My experience is that they require a signature at delivery. You might be able to setup a pickup at the local delivery location.

64gb Plus Space Gray and mine has a tracking number now, ordered at 12:56 PST.
I used the reservation system too and ordered it later btw... two charges in my bank (one for the full amount) - my order was for a 16 GB 6+ in silver. Still processing. Still "delivers on 9/19 via standard shipping". Hopefully something happens today...

I still have nothing new on my profile and my order page still says Preparing for Shipment (been that way since Sat night). I placed my order for the Gold Iphone 6 Plus 64 Gig at 1224 PST on the 12th (via Apple Store app). I have tried the reference tracking for Fedex - only comes up with my Apple TV Remote replacement delivered first of September. On UPS - no dice at all....
I checked my amex and my charges are still pending - not posted yet.
I called Apple and waited to speak to a human - he said I shouldn't expect my status to change at all until the 17th or 18th. That I still look good for delivery on the 19th.

Ordered Saturday and have a date of October 14-21 /:
So I pre-ordered the 6 silver on Friday morning from AT&T. I got an email saying it's preparing for shipment and to be shipped on 9/23. Should I cancel it and just get in line at like Walmart Friday morning?
