Seems a bit strange that not many people from the UK with preorders seem to be writing on this post, I am curious to know what company will Apple use to ship the iPhone in the UK.

Long time readerr first time poster.
Ordered a 6+ 128 GB AT&T Next program around 3:40 am on Friday via the apple store app. Money got taken out and says delivery day of 9/19 in email. Looked at apple support page and nothing and tried tracking by UPS reference and nothing.
It's very interesting to see how this all plays out with people tracking their phones and receiving them.
Is it normal to not have any more info besideS "preparing to ship" 3-4 days before scheduled delivery?

The serial number for my 6 Plus is now showing in my support profile and I was able to get the tracking number through UPS using my cell phone number and my Apple.com order number minus the last 2 digits. My friends order which I placed for her separately from mine isn't showing up anywhere just yet.
According to Flight Aware it looks to be halfway to Alaska at this point. I'd love for the possibility of it showing up a day early but I won't hold my breath on it

Yes, everybody is at "Preparing to ship", but the phones are with UPS already, apple just hasn't updated. Check the UPS website.
Sadly, when I check the UPS tracking I have for my case, it gives me two reference numbers that don't match up with anything on my case order.
It's also marked at 1lbs, so unless they somehow sent my phone and case together, I won't be able to use any reference number to get my phone tracking.
btw my case and phone were ordered 5 hours apart.

My leather case order status changed to shipped with a tracking number, both iPhones still preparing for shipment but I have the tracking numbers using my phone number!

An hour ago I checked my status it said "Shipped" and when I followed the tracking number it said it was sent to the USPS for delivery on the 17th (obviously they''d hold it until the 19th) and now everything is back to "Prepared for Shipment" :'(

The charge is now properly posted on my card today.
Ups still shows nothing and apple.ca shows 19/9-23/9 preparing for shipping, but I will just patiently wait here as its on its way
OR is it possible they need both Fedex and UPS now with these large quantities?.. I don't know, I'm only asking as well.

I ordered iPhone 6 and so far nothing on my support profile or tracking number reference. Still says Preparing for Shipment.

I think most UK users are posting in the UK thread (stickied at the top of the thread list).
I have a silver iPhone 6 128 coming from Harrisburg, at least thats what it says on the my ups app. Seems to be a large apple facility in that area. I only live 2 hours from there, and have next day air saver on my order. Might get it early!

My 6 is just sitting at Fed Ex in Newark.. Has been there since Saturday!!! It says holding for shipment, so they are just waiting!! I hope I don't have to wait until Friday to get it when its already there. MADDENING!!
If they actually have the package, call and say you may not be there friday, and ask if you could have it delivered thursday. By call, I mean call fedex. I did that last year and got my 5S a day early. If its just on hold due to apple, they are able to get around it.

Hey guys. I recently did the ups reference tracking and have some info for people in the same boat as me. I ordered a iphone 6 64gig at 3:45 et the morning of pre orders. My phone has been in preparing to ship state with no email of shipped yet. When I did the ups reference tracking it showed my phone as the shipping label was made and is ready for shipment. It is being shipped ups overnight.
Which brings me to believe it won't ship probably until the day before it's due. Which likely means my phone is in the states at a somewhat local hub already. And thats why the people who have tracked their phones coming from china have tracking info already.
