Did you order a standard configuration or was it a BTO?
How long after 'Preparing for Delivery' did your order go to 'Out for Delivery'?
Mine is a standard config 13", 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD. I received the notification from Apple yesterday afternoon that it had been dispatched from their warehouse after the order was placed in the morning. The courier website says its out for delivery at 7.03am after they picked it up from Apple at 15.37pm yesterday afternoon.
I am getting agro from the wife as I refuse to leave the house until it arrives and she wants to go and do stuff like shops, coffee, meal etc as we have the day off. However its my birthday today so I am pulling rank and waiting in (we will see who wins first the courier company or my wife)
So, does this mean that the laptops ordered by people from Europe will go all the way from China to Louisville then to Cologne Bonn (I think that's UPS' Hub in Eureope) and then with seperate fligths to each country (UK, France, etc.)?

I did ship to store also thinking it would come fast ...Base model 15" Retina... on 10/23. 7am. Checked back online and saw that store had them in stock around 10am. I ordered a couple hours too early i guess
I honest thought as soon as stock was available the orders would be filled. Ya, not so much. My laptop shipped out Wednesday night so in hoping it'll be there today. May be wishful thinking. Though
My BTO 13" rMBP ordered right after the Tuesday event shipped late yesterday morning. Says it will be here on Wednesday but past experience makes me think it will be Monday or Tuesday.
Mine is still showing as processing on Apple's status page, but UPS has picked it up.
Just do a Track&Trace search on their site, and search by reference number. Your reference number is the order number (the full order number with W in front).

Awesome. Ups site has just updated and now says that it's scheduled for early delivery today at 3PM. Couldn't be happier.

For some reason my package went to Hamilton first instead of coming straight to Toronto so I will be getting it Monday
Yeah same here. Still says it's in KY but the delivery has moved up to today at 3PM.
You can call UPS and do a hold though if they're really coming today.
you can also setup a 2 hour window for delivery
Can you do this even though the item is still showing that it's in Kentucky? Do I need to wait until it's showing 'Out for Delivery'? I'm thinking it's a mistake since it hasn't even arrived at our local hub yet?
I am not sure what the cut off time is to do this but you will need to be a UPS my choice prem member

Yeah, my 13" is also via Fedex. Not happy, since I went with expedited shipping and its estimated arrival is for 10/30...
mine went out for delivery at 7:30 am this morning still waiting.. probably wont be here till around 5:00 pm
