Just ordered the new 15" rMBP. 2.5 GHz/1TB/Radeon card. Excited to upgrade from a core i5 1.3 GHz MBA with 4 gb of ram now that I'm into photo editing :)

Guess I'm one of the few that wanted in on this model BEFORE a redesign with Skylake. I want nothing to do with those super flat keyboards!

Some European member here who ordered M370X Macbook Pro 15 model and already got a shipping or other than "processing" status?

I was torn between an Apple Watch and a new Macbook so I bought the 2015 256gb 13inch Retina. I sold my 13inch Mid 2012. I can't wait for this baby to come in!

My order has switched from "processing" to "preparing for shipment."
(Meaning it will ship out on Monday with my luck.) Either way I'm stoked as this is my first Mac that I CTO myself... I just really hope it doesn't have any problems. *Knock on wood. lol

Kal.

Mine is still sitting in "processing" state but should be delivered latest on Tuesday according to Apple. I don't think they will make it until then, because of the holidays.

Ugh, why did Apple release this laptop weeks before stock arrived at the vast majority of its stores? Is this normal for a silent update? I'm getting delivery dates in early June...

Did you upgrade the CPU and/or SSD from either of the basic versions (with or without M370X)? That typically delays things.

Just ordered one of these:

15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display

With the following configuration:

• 2.5GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.7GHz
• 16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
• 512GB PCIe-based Flash Storage
• Intel Iris Pro Graphics + AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2GB GDDR5 memory
• Force Touch trackpad
• Backlit Keyboard (English) & User's Guide
• Accessory Kit

Estimated to arrive at my local store on June 4. Kinda bummed about the wait but super excited to receive it! Got my first MBP back in 2008, before the unibody refresh so this upgrade is extremely welcome.

I got an email saying my product shipped, but it says May 28th, I paid the extra money for faster shipping, does Apple ever underestimate their ship days? Of course I won't die waiting 6 days, but am just curious. Danke.

Kal.

*EDIT:
I forgot Monday is a Holiday, so that explains the shipping estimate.

so i ordered the new 15 inch. I did however buy a maxed out 13' (less the TB hard drive) in march. If i like the 15 i will end up selling the 13. Im not able to get onto the marketplace threads yet but am wondering what my 13 would go for. Any ideas?

My order shipped in Shanghai. UPS says estimated delivery date is 27. May. I ordered with standard shipping and Montag ist Pfingsten here as well.

My 15" has a in store pickup date of the 29th now. I'm sorda pissed though as when I went into the store, they had them in stock. I have no clue why they lied to me when I called. It's probably because they outsource their in store calls but that's no excuse.

The base 13" rMBP 128GB was on sale this week, about €500 cheaper than the 256GB model that I wanted..

That upgrade price for an additional 128GB is a hard pill to swallow.. :)

128GB Nifty drive here we come..

I went for the top of the line 15", something I've always wanted. I got the 1 TB drive too:

I bought the top of the line 15" (nothing bumped) yesterday. Needed the additional memory over my late 2013 13" rMBP due to working with VMs etc, and thought I would treat myself to the model with the dGPU.

Still 'Processing' and delivery 1st-3rd June...

I also ordered the $2500 base model estimated Jun 1-3.

Does anyone find it ridiculous that 2-day shipping is not standard on a $2500 laptop? They want $15 for 2-day shipping on a $2500 laptop. Again, it's not like we can't afford it, but I just feel like Apple nickel and dimes their customer at every turn.

In Australia we don't get any choice on shipping (that I know of). I just had "Free Shipping".

My delivery status:
23 May 2015 19:56:53 Pudong International Airport Shipment In Transit.
