You are certainly a very small fractional minority on this, if your story is actually true. This phone is getting rave reviews. If your screen won’t swipe up or it’s yellow, which i have never heard anyone talk or complain about, why did you not exchange for a different X? What exactly are these “other issues” you say others are reporting with it? Something just does not sound accurate here? Did you really buy an X? I am really having doubts about your story.

I really don’t give a damn if you believe me or not. Truth is, I preordered one for nov 17-24 delivery and walked into Verizon and bought one on launch day. The one I bought did not swipe up from the bottom as soon as it got turned on. Since it was for my wife who was already hesitant about the hardware changes, that turned her off to the idea of a new iPhone and she told me to just take it back (at least for now). I have zero reason to make that up.

As for the yellow screen and swiping issue, apparently you can’t search (?) and/or aren’t very observant:

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/iphone-x-defective-screen-touch-not-working.2084246/

I’m not going to go search out the rest of the problem threads... some of them (most recently the screen-cold issue) made the front page.

So just because you don’t quite understand or are not capable of simple observation or searching doesn’t mean you should jump to skepticism. I have a feeling life will be very hard and confusing if that keeps up.

After having used one out in the wild, truly, the only downside on this phone besides the premium is the landscape view. If someone can get over this, it is a great phone. I honestly now think that an X plus would be too big and cost too much money. Plus users will battle with this, but I imagine anyone coming from the 7 or 8 will love this phone. My wife is keeping hers after coming from a 6S+
