What are you trying to prove? This kind of survey based on few people doesnt tell the real story for millions users. I am satisfied that doesnt mean iPad 3 has no problems. It has some problems but it's upto individuals who consider them as little/no/big.

I'm not sure if he is trying to prove anything other than to poke fun at the guys loudly proclaiming the device is defective and if you can't see that you don't know what you are looking for because they have replaced their devices x times.
Sure it does, and it's me and a majority of iPad owners who seem to not have any problems. My point is Consumer Reports and Changewave have evidence that people are overwhelmingly happy with their iPads and that it isn't the most defective product Apple has ever shipped...unlike the impression you get from this forum. But ya know, to each their own. :cool
I dont think you know the majority of ipad users so I would refrain from statements like that, as they simply incense those that do have issues.
How are either of the OPs links "ignorant"? It sounds like you're one of the people claiming there's widespread problems with the iPad 3 just because you have had an issue or two with yours.
I wish there was a way to hide posts.
I hate the "retina" moniker. Retina assumes that pixels aren't discernible at a certain distance. I have really good eyes, so I can still see pixels. The screen is excellent, though just drop the marketing word.
The added weight is completely noticeable, but if you use a Smart Cover most of the time, it won't bother you.
It's about 15% dimmer at full brightness, which will affect your use outdoors.
I've used mine quite extensively in full sunlight and it was just as legible as the original iPad in full sunlight. Not a real issue at all. In fact, in normal use I find full brightness to be too much. I run mine at 50 percent or less 90 percent of the time.

Is the IP3 better than previous version. In most respects yes but it still has issues and Apple does very little to address them other than take returns and keep quiet.
My issues:
1. All iPads are still too damn heavy
2. iOS is still not tweakable to a level that many would find helpful. For example, I would love the option to shut off LTE without having to open settings.
3. The warmth is annoying. Its not burning hot, but its annoying and should not be there with Apple's level of engineering.
4. Retina quality apps still not there and we have Apple's super secret release approach to that for the added wait time.
5. There is nothing in iOS (other than on/off) to help manage LTE better so users are more aware of how fast data is consumed.
I don't give a crap. I just find it funny how the forum is littered with bitching and moaning about how crappy the new iPad is based on threads with problems...
I just find it funny how quickly you forgot PROFANITY is against forum rules.
Which word is profanity again? The forum will *** out what it believes to be profane. But I don't think "bitching" or "crap" is offensive...then again I'm not easily offended. And if I do find something offensive, I change the channel, turn down the volume, or close the browser window.
That's all good for you, Salty the Sailor. But unfortunately you aren't the only one in this room. Not sure which word is offensive? Use some of those words with your boss tomorrow and tell him your extreme puzzlement over this. I bet they'll help you figure it out.

I did it once, for your kind info, retailers in NL admitted that iPad might have some issues especially the screen- most buyers are changing and even compare their own with demo ipad2 - requests for another ipad3. I dont know how iFans are seeing this but definitely there are some quality issues with the screen. If you are not daring to accept it who cares??? People have right to complain if Apple dont meet Apple's quality!!!
