steer clear of The Banks by Caseitup

Just tried out this one mentioned above: http://caseitup.com/shop/iphone5-credit-card-case/

don't bother, it is a piece of garbage. Fit is way too lose and sliding just one credit card into the back pushes one whole side of the phone out of the case. Case-Mate made such a good thin model for the iPhone 4 and I just don't understand why they can't repeat this with the 5.

I'm really disappointed in the credit card case offerings thus far. Most of these are just too silly looking or bulky (what's the point of owning a nice thin iPhone??) or fit way too loose. Here's hoping someone gets this right.

That case has an opening in the card sleeve to make it easier to move stuff in and out with your thumb - BIG advantage, in my opinion, saves a lot of time and hassle.

Price is outrageous, though. If you're looking for something a lot more reasonable, you should check out the iHold case (www.iholdcase.com.) Same sleeve-opening design, but quicker and lighter - and only $10 per case. Plus they are running a buy-one get-one sale right now.

Boostcase wallets for iPhone 5 are finally out! and offer free shipping. just ordered mine..

Use Coupon: cyberboost to get a 10% discount

That is a pretty good deal. Hex is raping people on their shipping costs…really it takes $12 to ship one iPhone case? If you are on the east coast, head over to J&R and get free super saving shipping and get it in about the same time.

forgot to add coupon code: it's BOGOIHOLD, according to a slickdeals thread. sounds like it's running through christmas - if OP is reading you might want to update the first post

That looks pretty cool, and you're right about it using the same sleeve-opening design as the Safe Wallet Case on Kickstarter. However, the Safe Wallet can hold up to 5 credit cards, cash and two keys! I don't know, but it looks like it has the largest capacity and most efficient use of space of all of the cases in this thread. Plus, if you check out the guy's website, he goes into all kinds of detail and suggestions for how he used this to eliminate the need to carry a wallet and keys with him. Isn't that really the whole point of all of this? I don't know, but I just might cough up the $59. I love the idea of consolidating all of my crap into my iPhone and its case.

But what I REALLY WANT is a way to digitize all of my credit cards, keys and cash, so I can just skip carrying any of those things and simply use my naked iPhone (or with my Incipio Feather for minimal scratch protection) for everything. NFC or something similar for purchases, locks, cars...everything. Where is that, Mr. Cook, and when can we expect it? :D

Those are good points, sounds like it's a bit bigger than the iHold (though with size comes bulk, too.) Still, you could buy 10 iHolds for just one of these, and they'll easily hold most of what you listed. Guess I'm just too much of a cheapskate...

Yeah, my problem is that I'm not cheap enough! I have a basement full of all kinds of crap, including old cell phones, old phone cases, old computers, old obsolete firewire external hard drives, and even an old Newton MessagePad 2000! Yeah, I'd probably be better off sticking with my Incipio Feather or maybe trying the iHold and calling it a day....but that compulsion to spend more money is strong!!!

And in answer to your next question, I'm too paranoid to sell my stuff on CraigsList (I live in the Detroit area, after all -- lots of crime here), and I'm too lazy to do the eBay thing. Well, one of these days I'll get around to it. ;)

Have you guys seen the pad and quill? It is also American designed/made. I am still awaiting my pre-ordered a quirky case. If I don't like it this is what I'll order next. Their ipad case was called the "Bently of cases" in an online review. Looks nice.

Just got this last week, but I'm sending it back. The build quality is amazing, don't get me wrong but it's a little bulky and holding it up to your ear when taking a call is just odd. I prefer the type of case that has a lid in the back (hurry up iLid on the 5 case!!) so my hunt continues.

Here's the one I just got. It's from Etsy. The leather stitch design is great, and the iPhone and cards fit into it very well. But the issue for me is that sometimes I take the iPhone out of the case and forget that I need the case when I'm leaving the house.

I really want to use my iPhone without a case, because the feel and design is so very cool. But I'm going to switch to the T8 Wallet case. It's a wallet case that allows for credit cards, but it's about minimalist as you can get for a wallet case. It means my cards and iPhone never get separated.

Well tomorrow I can finally go get my iPhone5 and upgrade from my 4. I've wanted an ILID, but waiting as I knew I'd upgrade to the 5. Still am seeing no 5 case from ILID. Has anyone heard anything from them?

I would like to at least carry DL, Cash, Debit. Only issue is I have several other debit cards for various work/organizations I'm involved with. I guess I may have to put them in a pouch and only bring them when needed.

I like the idea about putting the medical card in the KeyRing app. Has anyone had any issues at the Dr's office with this method?

Take a look at my review of the Atelier Pall wallet in the other wallet/pouch... thread. It can carry a lot and yet remains pretty compact. I think 5 or 6 cards and a few bills is possible.

finally found one close to the case-mate ID case, its from a seller based in USA, i just got mine in today and it fits 2 cards just fine, you do have to squeeze the sides in before putting on the phone to make sure the phone "snaps" into the case. but it works great ill update with link if anyone is interested.

I'm looking for a nice credit card case, I just don't know which one. I mean I'm so use to carrying a wallet and phone, I'd hate to pull the case out just to get my phone out.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the Q Card by CM4 yet. I received mine a few weeks ago and it's amazing. Getting a third card in there is a bit hard at first, but it definitely fits. (When you take the third one out, the faux leather goes back to being nice and snug with only two cards.) An RFID card in the third position even worked.

Would've liked it to be a bit thinner (seems like the rubber base that actually holds the phone was made extra bulky for no good reason), but it's pretty small for a wallet case.

Sorry about the delay. I have added a few of the cases mentioned since my last post. That SAFE wallet is pretty awesome.

Combining Two Cases

I just bought the latest Card Carrier (2.0 for iPhone 5) from KillSpencer, it is not yet on the OP's original list (shows a defunct link to the older Precision Card Carrier for the iPhone 4/4S).

Being hesitant to stick it directly onto the back of my phone until I can try it out for a while in real life, I put it on a cheap black basic snap-on case I got from ebay for about two bucks. This is my first post so hopefully I figured out how to post a picture...

How many cards can you fit in it? I have the previous version and was looking into getting this one, more pics please?

It holds four cards PERFECTLY. Perhaps a single folded bill in between the cards, depending on card thickness.

I just wrote another post about all the card cases I have been going through lately (!) with some other pics including one more of this case.
