Out of curiosity, when you put it in your pocket, do you put it top down (so the top of the phone is at the bottom of the pocket) or with the top of the phone being at the top of the pocket?

Yes I put it top down so that the headphone port is facing the opening of my pocket. I did the same with the iPhone 5.

Yeah, I do it the same way. Thought maybe you do it the other way and perhaps that might relate to how you are holding it when you are doing it. But doing it the same way my fingers are never above or on the volume buttons when I reach the power button with my thumb (using my right hand, in case that might make a difference) while the rest of my fingers are on the other side below the volume controls, as I use the power button and as I put the phone in my pocket. I guess people hold the phone differently even with the same hand essentially.

I feel like punching something with it on the side, especially when it turns the volume down just as I am shutting it off and I have to open the phone again to put it right! lol Very annoying and poorly thought out.
