Kids might want to listen to their phones by using the speakers when on the road, but you forget so many other usage scenarios, where having a great speaker does make a difference. When I am at home and want to listen to a podcast, watch a YouTube video or even listen to music, many times I just do that on my phone. I can't be bothered with headphones most of the times, so the M9 does produce the best quality sound by far. I don't know how you think that the 6 plus has better sound, but I guess each to their own..

I will absolutely agree that sound quality is subjective. When it comes to home HiFi I've always preferred fabric dome tweeters to metal tweeters as I hate bright treble. I enjoy a rolled-off treble and a warm, non-fatiguing sound that I can listen to for hours. Some people prefer bright, detailed treble and some don't. Some prefer over-emphasised bass whilst others like a neutral and non-coloured sound. It's all down to personal taste and for me the 6+ sounds nicest. That doesn't mean I'm right and you're wrong.

I would have got the 6 if it had a 1080p display and better battery life. I use a 6 for work and 6+ as my personal and whenever I use the 6, I can see pixels.
It's the PPI more than the resolution, Retina is enough for most people, but certainly not everyone.

Is there finally in iOS 9 in the Control-center a button to toggle the cellular data on or off?

I had a choice of iPhone 6 or 6 Plus as a work phone that i don't pay for.

I chose the 6. I tried both.

The 6 plus is just too big. Yes it has more battery life. Yes it has a better screen. But it's most certainly a 2 handed phone, doesn't fit in pockets very well, etc.

For me, the 6 is also borderline too big. It's not comfortable to use one handed like the 4s was. But it's a lot more manageable than the 6 plus.

YMMV, i suspect it depends on whether one handed use is important to you...
