So in the big 2025 we cannot control the iSO and shutter speed of the iPhone Camera while you can on android??? YOU NEED TO PAY ON THIRD PARTY APPS??? Damn this is sick… So yeah I’m going to take this problem seriously and if Apple doesn’t release an update or an app to control ISO, focus, shutter speed and WB… Well I’m going to make one…

Personally I would prefer that Apple makes one because it could be more native but yeah otherwise I will solve this problem.
The wealth of camera apps on the iPhone is because Apple doesn’t put in a whole bunch of “Pro” features. This is one app category that Apple doesn’t want to Sherlock. Different photographers do things differently and Apple wants to own the camera market. The way a Nikon photographer approaches things is different than a Canon photographer and on and on. Please just go write your own damn camera app and scratch your own itch instead of thinking you know how Apple should scratch theirs or how I should scratch mine.

Why should I spend 50$ on an app when I can make one my self... I already started the project like a month ago, just waiting the event to see if Apple releases an app or not.
So this thread is for you to self promote more than anything else. Guerrilla marketing at its best, until you effectively piss everyone off of which you seem to be doing swimmingly.

Still, neither is that expensive if someone can just skip a couple days of morning coffee.
Coffee must be expensive in your country.

The reason why Apple won’t implement trivial features on stock apps is that they get their cut every time you buy an app. It really bugs me that you need to pay for a feature which should be built-in.

I'm sorry, if you are going to pretend that you're pro, and at the same time don't want to pay for an app that does what you ask for, how are we to take you seriously? Pro's pay for good equipment because it's what they make their living from. Pro photographers pay thousands of dollars for lenses and a camera body, and you can't pay a couple of dollars for an app and claim the iPhone will die if apple doesn't provide it because pro's need it?
Come on...
I'm not living from, I just like to take good pictures !

On a general note, the iPhone Pro is missing so many “pro” software features, it’s embarrassing. If you call it pro then make it pro Tim!
The camera app is one, another is some control on the hotspot settings. There are many more I regularly stumble on. My work phone is android, and definitely not pro but it has so many more settings and fine controls. Stop calling the iPhone “pro”, it’s not.

I remember having a Canon 5D MK II and someone said the iPhone will kill DSLRs. Years later, my spouse who works for Apple, demands we shoot our family portraits with my Canon R5.

Oh no. I better buy an Android phone.

I wouldn’t bother making an app if the iPhone is gonna die there’ll be nobody to use it and you’ll be stuck with an older iPhone because they won’t make any more. 😞

hm... iPhone is not going to die, not due to some perceived short comings of Camera.app. The last thing I need is more controls in Camera.app. It is already too complicated for 99% of iPhone users. Well, at least 95%. And the rest can have custom app and pay for it.
iPhone may die - or be severely impacted - if they do not get the smart Siri running soon. That is - justly or unjustly - important for much lager part of customer base.

Bruh I don’t see why you are mad about me making an app…
I'm not mad at or about you, why would I be? you are a stranger on the internet, nothing more, nothing less.
You have opinions that I don't agree with, nothing more nothing less.
You said it would only take only a few hrs to make this app, though you also said you've already started a month ago.
My comment was about the quality of work that I would expect based on these statements

100h? Lol it can takes me a few but not 100h for this an app similar to Final Cut camera lmao

Oh yeah well, I started the project like a month ago but just like 1h per day in some days... Not working 3h per day or something like that lol

You can use your AirPods Pro as hearing aids since last year. More information here

The argument that if you don't want a walled garden you should get an android is true though, no matter how "********" you find it. The market is organized that there's a closed system and a system that likes to pretend it's open. Choosing the closed system and then complaining that it should be open seems like a bigger amount of BS than others then pointing you to the other one...
I realize that about AirPods as hearing aids, but they are NOT true hearing aids; that is what I need and why I have them.

Oh, and BTW, when I decided to go with Apple years ago I had an LG Android phone and I hated it, mainly because it would not play well with my Mac but things are different nowadays...on one side of the fence at least. Apple was a much different company then and, though not perfect, actually seemed to care to do the right thing more so than now. I also have the right to change my mind when I damn well please without being judged by some "expert".

It is all pretty simple; Apple Music and Apple TV have Android apps...why not Messages? Why not Mail? Why not any other Apple apps? Apparently if it only has the potential to make Apple money is why.

And really? I have the right to state my opinion and you get personal about it by saying what I say is BS? It is what is wrong in this country these days..."everyone can have an opinion as long as it is what I think.". I don't agree with what some may say on here, but I don't even respond. Even if I did I would not get personal. I keep my mouth shut and respect the fact that others ARE entitled to their opinions if the are different than mine and I respect that.

Have a nice day.

Bargaining with Apple for a $3-5 3rd party app. Sheesh. Get some self respect
