THIS.
It is called Planned Obsolescence.

The problem is there are no better alternatives! It's a trade off between iOS and 1gb of RAM or Android and 3gb RAM. Personally I'd go with iOS and 1gb of RAM (which is precisely what I did!).

RAM issues you say?

Even when it wasn't jailbroken I was getting numerous jetsam events. More so I have VERY FEW tweaks installed.

That's the biggest point. Safari is very poorly coded.
Btw apps reloads also on my nexus 7 with 2 Gb of RAM and lollipop (so far worse than kitkat).

What year?

So you like more reloading?

Well the first major one for me is the requirement for a Google account of some sorts. I don't like Google as a company and choose not to support their business practices.

Poor/inconsistent user experiences, lack of integration with my iPad and Mac, missing physical home buttons on the vast majority of devices, lack of fine level control over access rights for apps, lack of iTunes equivilent for app and content syncing and device backups.

Here's a fresh boot again. I got rid of all the apps from the task switched and restarted.

What are those logs about? What are jetsam?
And does your phone reboots automaticly? Or springboot?

The iPhone RAM issue keeps getting worse..

On a freshly booted iPhone 6 I have TWICE your free ram.... Something wrong with your device ???

You messed up with your iPhone and then blame Apple for that ? Interesting...

Lol haven't placed any blame on apple. And how did I mess up my phone? If it wasn't for those logs, I wouldn't really know there was an issue. A couple of games I was running a week ago started to lag a bit. Reboot fixed it. I've had the 6 and 6+ since launch.

I'm not blaming any one, but thank you for outing yourself as a loyalist to the fruit. Now my 6 did have some blue and red screen issues on stock 8.0.1 IIRC but never happened more than the first few days I had the phone, and surprisingly that phone was an MLC phones where as my second 6 and both 6+'s I have had have been TLC.

Jetsam events are RAM issues. I don't really notice it but occasionally an app will refresh or crash or just stop responding. Hasn't really bugged me in my day to day use and some days/months I get tons of jetsam, other months I get virtually none. This is on an 8.1.2 Taig jailbroken 64gb TLC nand Verizon 6+ that has also been jailbroken on virtually every other iOS8 that has been jail breakable.

ETA: Max(IT) feel free to search my posts of you don't believe these events were also happening on a non jailbroken phone....

I do get occasional reload and sometimes even crash here and there, and I'm not a multitasking person. All I do on my phone is either watch videos, text, browse (on one tab only usually, but I'm like this on computers too), check mail, and occasional gaming (not even ram heavy; stuff like 1020). Like one or two at a time. I tend to focus. It's annoying when it happens, but few enough that I'm not too bothered by it. I can see why some people would take issues with RAM though.

On my iPad Air, which has same amount of RAM, I noticed the reloading so often I couldn't stand to browse on it anymore. I switched browsers because Safari reloaded so much.

I think people tend to blame RAM for safari tab reloading, but if you download a 3rd party browser you don't get the tab reloading issue.

I don't think RAM is a problem, at least on my 6.
