Carew is reported injured and "doubtful", so I bench him... and what happens, he not only starts, but even managed to score... :mad:

If he get's another goal or two in the second half I'm going nuts...
 
Had to move Essien after the injury, which resulted in a chain reaction of moves.

Out: Essien, Hyypia, Ferdinand, Barry.

In: Corluka, A. Cole, Deco, Denilson.

Who the hell knows if that will work out. :rolleyes:

Man, I hope not...I've had three Everton players on my team the whole time, hoping Eveton's season will improve, and I think they've lost me enough points, so far... :eek:
 
Just finished a complete overhaul of my sorry team, thanks to playing my one-time wildcard. I've of course loaded up on players who have so far been excellent, ensuring the end of that run. :rolleyes:
 
Great weekend...

Just one fit striker left in my squad, after Carew and Yakubu later "traded" for Saha, all are injured, and that's Adebayor.

No goals, red card, -1 points and possibly a three game ban, leaves me in just a bad state as Everton, striker-wise at the moment. Well done, Adebayor... /sarcasm.

*** sigh ***

I might have to sell one of them and get me another striker...
 
Well, another season is over and congratulations to Scouseland FC who are this year's MacRumors Fantasy Football League champions. Give me a day or two to get the open top bus parade route worked out and the civic banquet organised, and the celebrations can begin in ernest. :)
 
Yes, Congratulations to Scousland FC and also to you Jaffa with your Champions League spot. I will have to be content with finishing in the top half of the table.

Thanks – I finished fourth though, meaning I've got to go through the qualifying rounds and face the potential banana skin of a tricky tie against a team from PCRumors.com...

I'm already having a think about running a slightly different competition next season, keep an eye on the main Football Thread for potential details. ;)
 
I just failed in my goal to finish in the top 10, getting pipped at the last minute...but was up to 8th at one point. Well done all!
