Points have meant points in the Cup for Heath this season, been in the Sporting Dual-Cores' position, tad frustrating.

Tilpots - not sure re the draw, seeds rings a bell. Definitely one bad game and the work is undone.

In the past it's been seeded but last year we were a tad surprised when the fixtures were determined randomly.

In the rules it doesn't mention the system they're using this season, so I dropped an email to their support folk to ask. The response was...

Each round of knock out matches is randomly drawn from the qualifying teams.

Interesting way to do it. Random draw doesn't reward the top teams. I wonder why??? I'm middle of the pack, so it's not a personal thing. Just seems the proper way. And I understand the teams that make the Top 8 are not necessarily the best teams (see Stoplights) so maybe that factored in to their decision??? I dunno.

Either way, I'm getting really excited for the Cup. That single elimination format makes me nervous just thinking about it!

Am I correct in thinking there's not teams scheduled for Double GWs in the Cup rounds? I had a good contest going with Neutron Heath until he absolutely destroyed me yesterday with multiple second game players. Geez. That hurt!

You're almost there – you could lose out but it would need you to lose all your remaining matches and be overtaken by a team who win all of theirs and run up a superior points difference in the process. I think it's fair to say you'll make the cut though.
