I've spent the past half hour or so trying different player combinations and the like – should I play it safe or make a gamble to try and make up the points on Prospect Park?

I missed the transfer deadline this morning. Hope it doesn't bite me. I had some issues with the site last night and then got caught up in the manhunt. Tried to do it this morning but missed it by a couple of minutes.

What worries me toward the end of season are these teams who have nothing to play for. Like American Fantasy Football, sometimes it seems its better to have a mediocre player fighting for a Champions League spot or against relegation then a great player on a team guaranteed a top spot or stuck in the middle. Sure, they're all pros playing for $ and glory, but I like to see that extra bit of push and motivation for my squad. You guys agree?

Don't worry. Teams still strong. I was actually going to take a pts hit and make multiple transfers so it may have worked out better for you anyway. Sorry Pachy!
 
IMPORTANT! Need a clarification...

Does the cup start in GW 35 or 36? I believe both have been said. Life or death decisions about to be made. The humanity!

Looking back I see multiple GW 36 is the start. Apologies. I'm freaking out man. FREAKING OUT! Did Suarez really bite a guy? Oh man...

No worries – the last round of regular fixtures is Gameweek 35, the top eight then go through to the knockout stages which start in Gameweek 36.

Best to concede now and practice your guard of honor for when the time comes. :D

But seriously, a 30 point deficit is not exactly a gaping chasm, and you're not the only one in hot pursuit of me. I still have three players to feature on Monday, so I've got a few more points to add to my total this GW.

Does Suarez get any bonus points for that chomp? What a week to give him the armband, though Bale would have done me better.

Why oh why did I flake out on signing up for the head-to-head league? :rolleyes:

Yeah, it was even worth three bonus points so far - hope it stays that way.

And also, yeah, we're all quite thankful that you didn't bother defending your cup title. :D
 
re life and death decisions: Besides that No ‘arm done, is Suarez about to get banned?

Bloody Suarez ...grumble, grumble, 11 points instead of 2, 2 bonus points for Walcott and that assist last week - nothing for Sissoko, offside my...mutter, and no penalty for Lukaku to smash home - how far inside the box does the foul have to be?...whinge, whinge. Do I get fined if I talk about match officials?:)

twietee - Suarez - the ref didn't see it, so a ban is likely.

Re: the Striker, I made some major changes upfront. Bit of a gamble, but I had to bite the bullet (yes, I did) and go with my gut and the scheduling.

Not sure how you can see what kind of dialect she's able to speak by pic. No, wait, I don't want to know.

Yeah I gamble different combinations almost the whole day long (frigging meetings...), but: you still have your WC? you're already qualified? If so, I don't feel for you. Oh, anyone has a solid opinion on Kone? Or reliable informations about Torres and Ba...feel free to PM me.
