I'd heard that Red Bull were sniffing around Leeds United, it's worth noting though that FA rules specifically prohibit teams changing their names to incorporate the names of a sponsor. Mind, Red Bull Salzburg get around this by referring to themselves as just FC Salzburg when playing in competitions where this is an issue. FC Sheffield, anyone?

That said, in such a situation Wednesday's colours would be totally open to change. Red Bull's other teams play in white and red, a combination I'm sure would go down very well indeed. ;)

Wildcard! The team has been sacked. Only 2 remain from the old squad. Need a big week to bounce off the bottom of the table.

As for the Stoplights clear lack of focus recently, I may be able to explain. No excuse of course, the team has suffered. For the past 3+ months, me and the fam have been attempting to buy a house. It's been an unbelievably difficult process, (I'll spare the details) but this afternoon, the movers will finally drop the last of our things at our new address. It's a big step up for the three of us and I couldn't be prouder. I can hear the beach from my porch and it's only a 6 block walk! Best of all, we get to raise my daughter on an island in a wonderful community. We got a lot of help from our families and know we were truly blessed in this endeavor to finally make it.

With this behind me, over the next few weeks, hopefully I'll be able to make some better decisions on the field. The boys deserve it. The team is refreshed. The only direction is up. Viva la Stoplights!

Many congratulations for the move, Tilpots. That sounds very stressful, but very awesome also; I hope you have a wonderful future ahead of you in your new home :) And maybe you can pick yourself up off the bottom of the table... maybe..... :p

Congrats Tilpots! Sounds amazing. I vouche for our cup final taking place on your island.

Speaking about the cup..phew, tight win (despite an obligatory -8 hit) against Cleveland FC makes us look half decent again. iToys FTW! :D

I defo have to work on my captaincy choices though.
 
So I don't understand the automatic substitutions. This week it lost me points. It substituted Bassong (-1) for Giggs (0). Why would it do that?

Because Fantasy Football is a cruel mistress. If the sub played, he goes in +/-. PITA when it is -.

Of course, with October behind us we can now take a look back at how things stand in the League after Gameweek 10. Here are the full standings...

All in all, things are looking pretty good for andalusia. Not only are his Mopheads top of the table, but the points he amassed to get them there - 181 for the month - are enough to earn him October's MacRumors Manager of the Month Award.

I can't say I'm not overjoyed by this current situation.... I'm not sure I've been at the top before, and this is certainly the first manager of the month award I've received! I'm dead proud of the Mopheads.... They've outplayed themselves this month, not to mention sitting at the top of the cup table too!

I have a feeling it's all downhill from here, what with the rest of the talented macrumors managers snapping at my heels... But for now, I will bask in this moment and enjoy sitting atop of the table....

surely i'm about to move up a bit... surely ..?

i know it would take a lot of work but it would be kinda fun if Jaffa had time to make two leagues and start relegating and promoting... :p
