Following Apple's "Wonderlust" event, Justine Ezarik joins us on this week's episode of The MacRumors Show to talk through our reactions to the announcement of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, Apple Watch Series 9, and Apple Watch Ultra 2.

Justine and Dan attended this week's event at Apple Park and were able to spend some time with the new devices. They talk us through how the new, contoured design and frosted glass of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus feel in the hand and look in-person, as well as just how much smaller and lighter the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max really feel due to their titanium design. We also discuss experiences of using the iPhone 15 Pro's Action button and Double Tap on the Apple Watch Series 9, the new selection of color options, some of our favorite new features, and more. See more of Justine's work over on her YouTube channel.

I simply don’t believe that. She most certainly will have a phone on release day. She’s simply trying to placate to the masses after being called out for being an Apple simp, shill and tech snob. Makes her look more “down to Earth”.

Loving iJustine being on - awesome energy. So refreshing to have some positive vibes in a nerd scene where everyone still thinks it's clever to be miserable and critical (especially of women).

Hint: being snide just means you're deeply unhappy with yourself.

Dude, I'm sure by this point she's probably got a pre-release review unit from Apple, which she will have to return hence why she has to buy her own

Media that were invited to the event, like Justine, should all be going home with review devices direct from apple. They’ll have a few days to use and then upload their reviews when the embargo lifts, likely next Wednesday.

I would guess this is for her own personal device

She might get a "review" unit, but her personal device could be delayed.

I've changed my thoughts on Justine. I actually like her alot. I used to think she was some vapid mouthpiece simping for Apple but after watching a number of her videos she's actually pretty knowledgeable on tech. Moreso than I gave her credit for.
She's knowledgeable but most importantly, she's the only Tech YouTuber that can deliver the emotion someone (who is not a tech enthusiast) would show. I do believe she's genuinely impressed by many things just because she's not behind benchmarks, tech jargon and other stuff.

If only your sentiments were valid. The issue is her lack of sincerity. Go back and watch some of her videos, especially pre-Covid. She would steer you into a wall and show you no respite. Don’t conflate contrived enthusiasm with passion for technology.
