I'll probably end up returning my sport. I think $400 is probably the max it should cost. It just can't do enough yet and many apps have limited functionality on the watch itself. I see it more useful for people that have their phones in a bag or just not with them all the time.

Maybe I'll rebuy it once watchOS 2 is out.

I'm returning mine today. Yes it's very useful but price tag and size is a killer for me.

I mean I'm 5'10 230 this thing looks like a tic tac on my arm. It should have been 46 or 48mm maybe next release they will make one bigger.

Well after a week I got another one. Found out I used it a lot. Lol
This time went with the sport white but changed the band to black and love it. Much better than all black (sg) looks much better with the contrast. Does not look as small

returned mine because the metal area on the sports band that touches your skin (the round circle) caused me to constantly itch. :(
You can buy third party bands with different types of material for the clasp and buckle - maybe that wouldn't have made you itch? Those bands are less the $40 - some as low as $10 for a rubber band.

I did it three times, still no go and returned the "last".

Update: just returned from the Apple Store and am back with the 42mm SS with brown leather loop. I could not stand being without my AW. I will add my my Surge for my excercise.

Yeah I've sold mine after a month - no matter how loose I wore it, after an hour my wrist was aching, which is odd I know - also I find the apps and features too limited and bit gimmicky if I'm honest - 1st apple product I've really not got on with. Sold for £300 locally, so lost £40. Hey ho.

I returned my Apple Watch because I was disappointed in its health tracking capabilities. I guess Apple initially intended it to be a all in one health tracker but probably found most of its sensors were inaccurate. They decided to release the product anyway to keep Apple's investors and the media happy. I think a Gen3 of this product could be an all round health device.

550€ (BSB + some cheap wood stand + some ugly tpu case). if i bought that new from apple, it would had cost me 699€ (germany). but thats just too much

I received the AW for my birthday approximately a week ago from a friend. I think it's a decent device, but I just can't honestly justify the price she paid for this device. Texting is a pain as I spend more time correcting texts and sometimes feeling foolish talking to the watch. The fact that I have to scroll and entire email is a bit cumbersome. The volume for phone calls is pretty low. My friend purchased me both the watch and AC. I'm going to have her return it and I'll take a bicycle instead which is much less than the cost of the watch.

I purchased a SS back on release date in stores and was in love that day. Showed my brother and he loved it as well so I bought him a sport SG as a gift...needless to say they were both returned within 3 days of purchase. Cool product but just not for us, yet

I just returned mine after 13 days, but that was because I was running out of time to decide. I was given my ASW as a present from my wife, and I spent the first 6 days debating about whether I should even open it. Finally opened it, managed to wear it for 2 days before getting ill and spending the last 5 days in bed. As tomorrow was the last day to return, I decided it was better to return it and then get another when I'm better and can spend some decent time with it.

One thing I didn't like about the Sports Band was that it nipped my hairs/skin when slipping the extra strap bit in. I also found I couldn't wear it for long on my right arm without pain, it seemed to be pressing on a nerve (was fine on my left arm)

I am going to get a lot of flame, but I sold my 42 MM Sport grey yesterday for $350 (lost 81)

Really wanted to love it, and I miss it, but this I am going to wait for Gen2.

Hopefully it will be more solid by then?

Had a change of heart, mainly due to the friend that purchased the watch, but I went and swapped my SG SW 42mm for a WSB SW 42mm. Found me a couple of 3rd party silicone bands on ebay and I should be good to go. I'm curious of how the watch will perform once OS2 is released.

I returned my Apple Watch 6 says after purchase because IT'S JUST NOT WORTH $600. The more I examined and interacted with it, the more I felt CHEATED by Apple. My $600 watch was, in my opinion, not worth more than $200. Apple is literally STEALING from brand blinded consumers. The device is over hyped, grossly overpriced, poorly constructed, and the UI is half baked. The Apple Watch is a disgrace to the Apple brand.

Aannddd I just returned mine!

As I was walking in to Dave and busters the other day and dictating a text into my watch, it hit me - why am I doing this? My phone is in my pocket..

So I pulled my phone out and sent my message without issue.

The rest of the night I realized - I really don't need to see my emails right away, and missing a text or phone call was never really much of an issue.

The nagging thought - is this really worth over $700 bucks was too much, and back in the box it went.

I stopped wearing watches years ago, and it is so much freer to not be stuck with that peice of jewelry any more. Im really not the type of guy to care about fashion, and spending that much on a "fashion" item made me feel..like I wasn't myself.

I'm actually happier not having to mess with a watch, and it feels very nice being free again.

It's funny, the apple rep I returned it to said they stopped wearing watches too, and felt the same way..

Oh all that hate... No I don't share your opinion.

Had a 42ss Steel Link but took it back, then about a week later purchased a 42ss with a sport band. After using it for about another week I took that one back as well (and got my $650 back).

I just feel like the device is overpriced so I decided to keep an eye out for a good deal and thankfully I got one. Purchased a $40 ss hoco band and a mint condition 42mm sport for $300 on craiglist. While the sport isn't quite as nice as the SS variant, I find that I enjoy the device more because I feel like I'm getting my moneys worth. A decent looking apple watch for less than $350 is a good deal. $600+, not so much.

Is it just me, but like none of these returned my Apple Watch posts make any sense. Here is the gist, I bought the watch, loved it! But returned it 3 days later or... bought the watch, loved it but too expensive so returned it but I picked another one up on eBay! Repeat for 15+ pages and you have this tread summarised in 3 lines.

Not at all.

I bought it, tried it for awhile, eventually felt silly and returned it.

I wanted to just try it out, I knew it wouldn't be something for me. So selling it again after a few weeks is all part of the plan.

Why buy a Watch if you never wear watches, don't really use its features and - most importantly - know you can spend the money on something more useful. It's really not that hard to think of this before you buy it.
