It may be confusing if you don't realize that the world extends past the US. :p

REALLY?? Now how come -- Oh, that's why! The pages of my World Atlas got stuck together!! (boinks himself on head) Silly me!

My comment was partly directed at obeygiant, who could not find Golden Grahams. From his location, he's talking about Michigan. Last time I looked, that was still in North America. (Mind you, I don't get memos as fast as I used to -- people keep stealing paper out of my in-box....)

I can't have it that often, but the award to most amazing cereal goes to my mother's granola.

When I can't have that, this is a good runner's up:

Being as you said "confused about all this can't get Golden Grahams stuff" I thought you were referring to everyone talking about it, including those of us with UK locations that were talking about it. But I wasn't being serious anyway, just playing with a stereotype.

Number 1 and 1A for me (in no particular order) are as follows:

Golden+Crisp.jpg

- the Malt-O-Meal knock off of these (Golden Puffs) are top-notch and a fraction of the cost and what I get now that I'm a poor college graduate

It's official!

OAT Cheerios discontinued in the UK, got a response from Nestle

Bummer!

(got some vouchers from them to their credit)

^ Damn! :(

I feel sorry for anyone with coeliac disease or wheat troubles in general in the UK. Everything is so goddamn wheat-centric. VERY annoying.

BTW, I could find Golden Grahams all I wanted. It was the cinnamon cherrios I couldn't get until recently.

"Kellogs All-Bran"

High-fibre breakfast cereal, so good for your colon, lower's your cholesterol, so good for the heart, low in sugar so good for the teeth and diabetics

No sweat.

Then maybe I miscontrued. Happens when I don't take my daily dose of placebos. I just saw the Cinnamon Cherrios in my local market. Probably would have picked them up if the Mrs. would let me. (Don't ask.)

You cant get proper Cheerios her in the UK (the Oat version) only that multi-grain rubbish! Just got back from Florida where I stuffed my face for two weeks..

You can get Lucky Charms in Selfridges for about £7 a packet if your desperate enough.

talk about paste

My kids love

no doubt:)

Yeah, but not in the UK for a few years now, just the cinnamon version - hence the posts by iBlue & Jaffa Cake & moi.

Of course, if anyone has seen Golden Grahams in England......I've not had breakfast today yet... :D

i'd be willing to buy in bulk and ship it over to you guys for a small fee.. :)

F
they were banned in the UK for unhealthy levels of Sugar and Salt ... what are you feeding people over there? :p

sugar and food coloring, mostly

grape nuts for me!

If you love cinnamon you have to try "Cinnamon Burst Cheerios"

http://www.cheerios.com/ourCereals/CinnamonBurst/CinnamonBurst_home.aspx

Honest to god this is the best cereal I have ever had in my entire life! This blow's away the flavor of Cinnamon toast crunch... I could eat the entire box right now.

I did finally try them. After all the hype in this thread, I'm really disappointed. They're good, but not Grrrrreat!

This stuff is better, hands down:

OMG! I forgot all about MuffinTops! By far the best cereal in the freakin world! Blueberry Muffin flavored cereal:D

Having cinnamon cheerios right now. Very good.

Just an update. After eating this cereal for a few days I noticed I was running to the bathroom more than usual. I won't give you the details but it rhymes with pitting showder. So I've moved on to other cereals.

My current favorite is Chocolate Chex. And yes it does turn the milk into chocolate milk.

HARK! I have found Golden Grahams in the UK! (Waitrose in Canary Wharf, to be precise) £2! :)

Oddly enough they're made by Nestle and not General Mills but I've investigated and they taste just the same. Whew.

I think Cap'n Crunch would disagree

Captain Crunch trying to get his sugar hooks into you. Cheereos is a winner from this standard. Personally I eat Shredded Wheat, GrapeNuts, and Life on a regular basis. :0

Back in the day, it used to be Kellogg's Special K... they kind of looked like Rice Krispies, and were utterly divine, then 20 odd years ago Kellogg's saw fit to meddle and changed them into the dull and tasteless bran flake type things we know today. :(
